You just have to install them after you install TSLRCM. If the mod is installed by TSL Patcher, it just involves a few simple clicks. But if it's a mod that is installed manually you'll have to combine the two 2da's that are conflicting (one from TSLRCM and one from the mod your installing) either by hand, or by using the 2DA Converter/Merger Tool.

Yup, as stated mods who patch appearance.2da work fine. But if it's replaced (which TSLPatcher also can do, so make sure to check the install log to see if it's not doing that) that *will* give issues.

No before I didn´t install any mod.
It was new for me.

Now I´m through! Now it feels compete! And after ca. 100 times playing it it´s great to experience the game almost new! Thank you for this great mod. And this mod works.

Two questions:
Why are there a few cut scenes that don´t run as video (fmv)?

And do you restore the planet M478, too? There is a mod but not compatible. But Obsidian wanted to make this planet in the first place I think then?

1) Not sure what you mean.
2) M4-78EP's already released.

But I thought the M478 mod isn´t compatible?

@1.
Well the videos that must be fmv are in the normal game graphics.

And on my other PC my game is already using the official patch 2.0. (German). Can I install 1.8.2 or must I re-install the game, too?

The original M4-78 mod isn't compatible with TSLRCM 1.8.2. The "M4-78 EP" is...

Visas introduction? Sions arrival?
Yeah, we did that. Looks a lot better, don't you agree?

Yes the Visas introduction is good. And the music is better to hear. If you use the warp cheat you can see both cutscenes, too.
But the Sion videos are a bit abrupt between that.

But I wonder: Even without mod I made EVERYTHING but not all videos are activated in the games menu. Why?

Well, some just don't appear ingame.

And it also counts the lucasarts/obsidian/legal towards the max videos even if they never appear in said videoscreen.

@ Golbolco; The main game isn't even available for mac... :?

How do you mean ingame? The list is never complete... I can´t watch the intro videos in the menu. Only at the beginning of the game.

And btw I now know what was the problem I told you in the pm.

For example the Ravager surviving (movie patch), goto's flyby (added by TSLRCM though) and probably some others just never trigger.
KOTOR1 had the same. Zbyl re-added them there.

Ravager surviving? Interesting. Is that also a restored content? On ds it was the same as ls originally.

Where can I find the kotor 1 patch?

I believe Hassat Hunter is referring to MalMov06.BIK

View page
YouTube Video

By comparison: MalMov05.bik is the video that plays when the Ravager explodes.

HH, if I've misinterpreted what you meant, please let us know.

Yeah, that's the one.
Interestingly it didn't ship in the game, it's only available with the high-quality movies patch.

Yes that video. I now see this the first time. I have to play it sometime with ds. It´s interesting that there are still things we didn´t see before. Can you restore that video, too?

@Hassat Hunter
As I said before I installed it with the "real" installer. It works fine. But Kraia still doesn´t say "He is hre" on Peragus. Why?

So yeah don't know if someone else had this problem but Vrook is not spawning/appearing in the crystal cave even though i took the datapad from the dead mercs and or talked to Kaevee about him.

Mods i am using
Shem's Ultimate Sound Mod
Playable Dopak
Super Enhanced Mod

I am guessing the Super Enhanced Mod is the culprit.

And still I have the problem on Vista. On Win 7 it wasn´t!!
Some things like Kraia: "He is here" doesn´t trigger on Peragus.

No other mod installed. That disturbs me.

Hm, curious, Game patched (1.10), fresh install, then no worry at all until Korriban.

There, I cannot get back to the Ebon Hawk (game crash when in,side, a (first there, no way to tell which one it is) cut-scene would start).

Then, while in the meeting with Kreia (temple) (while Anton arrive, both activate light saber (weapons, as both are Jedi as of now), I tried the four dialogues options but still, a second and crash there to ?

Sound like there could be something wrong with the cutscene ? Still, I have have quite some already (Guess last was onboard, not sure which, but Visa is there, I have also Mira. Also, Korriban was my second planet visited (after Nar Chada, where all was going fine).

Any idea as to what could be ongoing ?

First I want to say great job and thank you to everyone involved with this project.

I just returned after 3 years, and was wondering. Is this mod compatible with USM?

Edit: Ignore my previous question. I just read on the first page that USM is incompatible with TSLRCM.

Anyway once again great job.

Wonderful to see this work ongoing. I still have XP SP3 install so it should run flawlessly thanks so much about time for a new replay! thanks again.

If we install using the exe and also plan to use M478EP, what order should we install with? thanks for any tips on this.

There were a few additional restorations I used to have to enable to get completest content but will go thru the read me and see if they have been added in. Thanks again for the great work. always worth the wait for your additional fixes. esp looking forward to seeing the factory.

If only we could get the lost Hutt cartel planet in... but i think that project that has some progress got lost on the tides of time.

Install TSLRCM first then M4-78EP afterwards

Hutt cartel planet? Are you referring to Sleheyron for K1?

TSL planet that "never made it very far" was M4-78 (Avellone wanted Alderaan too at some point, but I believe it was scrapped before anyone even started designing it). The Hutt planet, Sleheyron, was supposed to be in the first KOTOR.

Yes, David Gaider has given us some great background on Sleheyron, for KoTOR 1, too bad that one didnt happen. Great to see all the fixes now adding up in this latest release of the restoration mod. I will go thru it and see if i have any questions about any of the restored material i have saved up over the year being included or not.

If I may make a couple of suggestions to add here.

The unofficial patch thingy, which I know is just a bunch of stolen mods put together, has some of the environmental and character textures with fixed shaders properly displayed, so that might be integrated in too.

The 'Hide Weapons in Animations' could be added for immersion.

Hey all, hope this isn't a stupid question, however I have to imagine that it's been asked and I can't seem to find the answer:

Where can I find the source code for the scripts used in this mod?

I haven't played it yet, however I'm getting ready to fire up TSL and look forward to checking it out. Sounds amazing, based on what I've read so far.

DeNCS fails on all the loot scripts. The rest it does ok with. I'd like to update my (read: own, personal use) lightsaber and robe mods to be compatible, but for that I need the loot scripts.

From what I know all the scripts they made can be decompiled using DeNCS, but I could be wrong.

I want just only thank all the people that made this restoration, I bought the game almost eight years ago and I finished it countless times, but now I can play it again with all the part I never seen before.

Thank for all the effort!
