^His chin line looks off and his skin color varies a bit too much IMO.

Yeah the chin needs to be fixed, personally i really dislike how most characters doesnt have any features, makes them look really dull and uninteresting, imo.

Mmm; the contrast is a bit high I think on the NPCs face... He just looks rather dirty and overly smudged with oil... Or received a beating... Unless ofcourse it's a NPC from the Telos Lower leves/ Sewers, which would make it fitting

Anway, you're certainly doing nice work. Dantooine looks stunning with the little colourfull flowers.

Wow, finally, someone that work on the wookies! Quality work in here. The vegetation you added looks so much better, as does the leaves on the floor. All in all, great improvement!

Thanks for all the kind words, glad you like it

Rextured the 4 Gammoreans, original textures are extremely low-res (256x256) these are 1024x1024, so they're a bit more detailed and far from as blurry as the default textures.. There's also some added individuallity, like one of them now wears plate shoulder pads, helmet and gloves.

Original: http://piclair.com/data/bkju9.jpg

Nothing amazing really, just a simple brush up.

You never realize how bad this game's models are until you see these amazing textures put on them. Somebody really needs to fix the models.

Haha, yes they're pretty bad up-close. Fortunately, when running around and fighting and whatnot it's not THIS noticeable though, when up-close (cut-scenes / talking) it's painful to see how low poly they truly are.. I havent re-modelled anything for KOTOR so i don't know how hard it is, usually remodelling NPC's is far more difficult than redoing a static model (which i have a ton of experience with, especially vegetation, though not for KOTOR..). If you know of any guide or tutorial for remodelling KOTOR NPC's let me know..

I love your skyrim mods. Simply brilliant. Honestly I don't know how possible it is to remodel them but i know you can add more polygons to the models. Here is a tutorial on doing that to heads. I believe it works the same for full body models. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong. I have never actually done this.

Looking good. If I could make a suggestion for the Gammoreans, maybe their wrinkles should be more visually identifiable like they are in the vanilla texture.

yeah the faces might look a bit too smooth, but also a bit more natural (imo). The original faces are hand drawn with wrinkles drawn in black so they really stand out.

Ooh, that is some sweet force lightning/shock right there =) would love to use that

I don't know if it's just me, but some of the textures (gamorrean shoulders, ithorian eyes, parts of Bastilla's outfit) look transparent. Just thought you'd want to know.

Some of the creatures such as the Rancor in the Undercity sewers and the Jabba the Hutt Aliens Zax/Ajuur come out too shiny like they are covered in petroleum jelly. How do I fix this? They look unnatural.

first off, I think that the fur texture on the neck, nose and cheek are excellent. The direction of the fur looks so believable in relation to the contours of the face in these areas. That said, I can see some blending issues, where the fur in those areas kinda stops with an edge. Plus the neck fur should be continued a little more down the front.

The stripes on the back look a little strange. It's kinda like they're a separate thing that has been laid over top of her fur. You can go with it, like it's jewelry or a headpiece. But, if you'd prefer that the stripes are part of her fur, then I think they should also have similar texture to the rest of her fur. From my research into cat stripes, I know that the stripe is made up of whole hairs of one colour. Here's are good closeups of a tiger's stripes:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamiewillmott/3996844198/
http://www.photosphrases.com/cpg/dis...bum=256&pos=12

You could also try something like this Photoshop pattern:
http://www.obsidiandawn.com/animal-p...oshop-patterns

I know from experience how hard it can be blending in some fur along her forehead because of the seam in the uvw map. It would make a huge difference though, if she didn't have that smooth spot on her forehead, while the rest has such fantastic fur detail.

I hope you keep up with this, because it'll look so awesome when it's done

They arent touched by this mod. Might be something with the appearance file maybe, i'll have to check later.. this is a very early alpha so it's far from perfect.

redrob41: thanks for the comment / suggestions I agree, though you shouldnt really pay much attention to the .dds, on the model itself it's very hard to even make out much detail since the texture is extremely tiny, it wouldnt really be possible to make out the details on the even tinier stripes.
