[Idea] Coruscant (TSL)

Hey there!

I've had an idea for a Coruscant mod a while ago, but I don't have the skills required to do anything more than write text. Actually to be honest, I never modded anything before. Tried several times, but never worked.

Anywho, that's another topic for another time. Right now, I'm just dishing out an idea that hopefully may be made into a mod one day.

I've seen two Coruscant mods. One (K1) never made it. The other (TSL) is what I call a piņata map (No offense to the creator, deathdisco, I still like the mod anyways). So I've been thinking, why not make an actual Coruscant map in which you can travel further than the Jedi Temple? It's gonna be there, that's for sure, but you'll be able to go further than that.

Well, I've had ideas for areas myself, but if someone's actually gonna do the mod they can work it however way they want if they don't agree with the choices:

Landing Area: Telos Academy
Main Area: Iziz Merchant Square
Industrial Area: Nar Shaddaa Docks
Cantina: Iziz Cantina
Jedi Temple: Iziz Royal Palace + Council Chambers
Republic Embassy: Khoonda

Well, that's about it. If you've got your own ideas you'd like to add to this or if you have better ideas for areas, feel free to leave a comment. If anyone's gonna do this, I'm willing to help in however way I can. If you've got text and dialogue to write, that's my strength.

I've kinda always wanted a game where the Star Wars Saga was created using the KotOR SDK. Like a K1 or TSL story conversion mod that progressed with the actual story starting from ep I (we can skip II cause that one sucked). I actually have a thread posted in here regarding that. Anyway, I'm in your boat with 0 modding experience but some pretty good ideas. For example, SWEP1 KotOR conversion mod would use pretty much all the modules but they'd be re skinned of course. I think if i can recall correctly I had everything laid out like which modules would be used for certain planets and stuff. Like Tatooine for Tatooine, Leviathan for Trade Federation Ship, Dantooine for Naboo plains, Nar Shadaa docks and landing pad for coruscant and then the jedi council chambers from Atris polar academy. Blah blah blah, besides that I like the idea you got for a new added planet though. Sorry i had to go on a rant about my ideas lol this topic just got me thinking more.

Sorry to be the buzzkill here but deathdisco's mod is all your going to get in terms of coruscant for TSL unless you do it yourself. And as for your idea code luke, you'll have even less of a chance for your idea actually happening, as cool as it would be, unless you do it yourself I doubt anyone would get it done. Us modders all have our own ideas for mods we want to do first and most of those even fall through. But don't give up all hope- I have talked to people about doing this before and there is a chance that I MIGHT make coruscant for TSL as an expansion to deathdisco's mod AFTER I finish my current project.

Yeah I completely understand that Canderis. It isn't something that I'm really dying for, otherwise I would try to do it myself. I know that story conversion mods take heaps of time and I can't commit to anything like that anyways. And that's not including having to learn the ropes of modding. I just like to speculate and think "What If?".
