The loaner board is working. Gotta get used to the new layout though. The touch screen kinda drives me crazy... but 90% of what you do on it happens on that.

I miss all my knobs and buttons.

But I'm hardly on that often anymore... and when I am, I'm usually on Netflix, or playing Skyrim or Forza. I never play shooters anymore... and never multiplayer.

But go ahead and add me. I think I still have your old account snoozing on my list.

skyrim is amazing. i haven't really gotten into it yet, working on Far Cry 3 right now, which has beautiful graphics and a crazy story.

F'ed up my eye exam appointment yesterday morning.

It was at 9, and the voice inside the back of my head was telling me it was 9... but I thought it was at 10, since that's what I put in my iPhone calendar the day I made the appointment. Granted, I was walking to my car, rushing to get to work with at least a thousand other things on my mind at the time I put it in...

I showed up at 9:30 thinking I was early, only to get treated by the receptionist like I was something unpleasant she had stuck on her shoe.

I hope my insurance doesn't get charged fot that... but I suspect it might.

had a good day today...after classes played far cry 3 for a few hours, got to the 2nd part in it i guess i could call it that...love the cinematics and the story. anyway...after that deal went running at the lake with my buddy then mexican restaurant for some margaritas and enchiladas. after i got home decided to phone my friend and convince him to go to the gym with me. good deal. now i'm feeling tired, my arms are sore as hell my legs and ankles said hell with it and are leaving me alone for now.

and some kinda nice news...chick i met on dating site is interested and wants to hang out. this one better not be psycho, according to her she likes the same **** i do which is hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, paintball, and idk it might be too good to be true like everything these days, but i will have some hope left in my heart...

"likes" are not the same as "What I like to DO"

My wife likes hiking, but is in no physical shape to hike up the nearby bluffs, which i LOVE doing. She likes to bike, but not more then a mile or two. unlike me, which I have greatly enjoyed going 20-40 miles in a day, then camping out.

Took a trip to the north. Stopped at a winery in Fountian City, about 1 hour north. Took the Great River Road (The most scenic road in the nation). Enjoyed a glass of wine, on the top deck of a pre-civil war building where the tasting was, overlooking the River. Then over to a top notch Irish pub, with the best Bangers and Mash, and a nice cold Porter from the local brewery to wash it down with.

At the end my stomach looked up to the brain and said "That will do" before a mighty satisfying belch came up.

Slept most of the day away. The weather has been pretty blah outside all day, and I was exhausted from a week of professional and personal stresses.

Seems a crappy way to blow the last real day of summer for me... but there you go. This summer kinda sucked for me anyways.

It's now just past the one year anniversary since my ex decided to go away,... and guess who decided to send me a message last week?

I haven't responded to her. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to.

decided to drop about 200 on a drum dmag for my paintball gun. one of the benefits of being single is i can do this and feel no guilt or shame.

First show on the new board down... one more to go today.

I want the old one back. So far: Do not like.

I guess I'll get used to it eventually... but it's just too different to what I'm used to.

had a blast at italian fest today. i walked 2 miles to get to the atm down there, got some cash out, bought my chicken Parmesan pizza slice, walked around checking out all the awesome food, bought a canolli...freaking delicious. texted with my old coworker and seeing if that is worth a relationship (the one with the 4 kids) she wants to hang out on the 14th/15th, so i'm looking forward to that. and the pof chick finally got back to me, we exchanged numbers and i got a date with her on friday.

back in the gym tonight, did 20 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes working my arms, then another 10 minutes on elliptical. i think i'll start noticing changes by november, or the time i have to report back to my unit and take a freakin pt test, which i will pass first time GO.

Skyrim is so awesome....i love the archery, and the 3rd person view of kills. love that game right now. and the music is done very well!

I just completed the main storyline in Skyrim. Working on the civil war line, then maybe the Thieves Guild one.

Then after that, maybe I'll get the DLC... though I'm hoping I can find a collection disk used and cheaper than paying for all the DLC downloads.

ughghghgh roommates that live downstairs ****ed up the washer.....so i'm off to the mother ****ing laundrymat so i have gym clothes for tonight. fml. haha pretty sure i fixed it, threw it on spin cycle while i had my clothes washing at the laundrymat...almost was dumb enough to pay to have them dried there, but remembered...derrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! the dryer still works, ****ing idiot.

not sure what else i'm going to do today...italian fest is going on still, but it's misery outside, humid as **** (missing kuwait, no humidity or rain) and nobody to go there with cause they're all at work or have plans with family.

but eh, i cleaned up my room pretty good and my car...got two 32 cases of water and a gym towel (sweating profusely sucks). next stop i think will be italian fest cause i didnt eat anything today...then after that i'll come home and get my clothes out of the dryer and head over to lake scranton for a 3.5 mile run, come home and shower do some algebra problems and read some of my psych or sociology book then play some video games til 10pm then go to the gym.

Skyrim is EPIC. THo my favorite is the assassin guild storyline. Kind of silly at the beginning when you kind of start the civil war. Gee, who should I join, the local rebels? or the Imperials who decided to chop my head off for no reason?

Also there is a trick you might not know. If you are bored, traveling around, and spot a fox, they will often lead you to interesting things.

Last time i played i completed almost all the quests... that takes a LONG as time. Got kind of bored when I was sneak attack killling death knights at the end

went on a nice run at lake scranton. the humidity finally went away. thank GOD i can breathe again.

my Drum Magazine for my T68 Firestorm M4 paintball gun shipped today...hoping it gets here by this weekend because I'm going paintballing with my friends this coming sunday. then the next game is on the 22nd and then the castle conquest game at EMR paintball field on the 28th plus open play on the 29th. I'm so excited.

pretty excited about friday. this girl seems to like me, but idk i'm trying not to get my hopes or anticipations too high. this could be another epic fail for all i know, but i will make the best of it.

I closed off the assassin's guild line by killing the recruiter in the shack, then everybody in the headquarters.

After I complete a few more storylines, maybe I'll make another profile and start again, and play the evil side up a bit more.

My ex has been persistent in contacting me. I finally caved and responded. It went about as well as could be expected. Angry words were exchanged, and somehow everything is all my fault.

Fine... as long as it's all over and I can get on with my life again. I'm not really sure what she expected... that I was going to be thrilled to start things up again with a now-married ex who dumped me from over 5000 miles away with almost no reasonable explanations over a year ago? That I hadn't moved on when I heard that she did, and was still pining for her?

getting my car fixed by my friend tomorrow. hoping for the best...getting plugs changed out thought it was the wires so we changed them, same problem..flashing engine light so i left the car over at the garage he works at, also said to get its oil changed cause it was due for that, and to investigate what was making the annoying screeching sound. hoping it all can be fixed by thursday..

I don't get how you guys are always hearing from your ex's. I have never once had an ex or even a girl I expressed interest in (or vice versa) ever speak to me again after things didn't work out.

Trust me... I wish I hadn't. I was hoping it was going to be a "never hear again" situation.

I started to notice activity on my Facebook last week that could only be connected to her... right around the time of the one year anniversary of her going away. She always liked commemorating those kind of dates.

I got a message last Thursday in my Facebook from her. Ignored it until this morning, but she sent me a couple more. I was hoping a response would kill it... and after some arguing, it seems like maybe that happened.

I'm willing to take all the blame if it lets me be in peace.

there was only one ex i was going to go back to. well i discovered that would never work out.

we hung out for a week then after that **** just went downhill after a glorious battle in my vehicle after i forgot where i was driving to, asked politely if she wanted to walk once she announced her disgust at me...heh the last time i saw her was after i got back from a bar, her place was on the way and i was tired as hell so i just went to sleep there for the night..

hehe i kept her as a distant friend though, she moved to california. she'll probably be back but probably not before i move onto another better more deserving girl. it's disheartening seeing other men post retarded stuff on her facebook wall, makes me wanna destroy some faces, but fortunately for them she's not worth it....

feeling pretty ****ing happy. got approved for state grant for "education" aka all the money (roughly 3600) goes straight to me because national guard paid 100% tuition assistance. so that goes into my account plus the post 9/11 gi bill. and in a few days im going to file for unemployment. milking the system for everything she's got.

Well lets see. My first ex-girlfriend just wants a "toy" and now is in her second marriage to some sugar daddy. The other ex dumped me and soon after found another guy and married him. The last ex is manipulating, and only can now get attention by complaining about all her medical problems.

Nope, no problems with Ex-girlfriends here. Don't care for them, not playing the manipulative games they enjoy

This. And this. Also this.

She claimed the marriage was meaningless, done only for immigration purposes. When I pointed out this directly contradicted what she had told her mother, and was related on to me, she claimed that it had to "look real" or she would face deportation. And that if I really knew her, I'd know that she'd have great reason for doing what she did, and maybe she's better off without me, since I clearly didn't understand.

The "better off" without each other I'm currently finding it impossible to disagree with...

But whatever... it still doesn't make up for the facts that:
1.) It's been almost a year since I've had any direct news from her, other than telling me she was on death's door, and her serious, serious health issues might take her any day, week, month from now;
2.) She got married (for whatever reasons...) 3 months after leaving and let that news drop in my lap a total surprise;
3.) She's still 5,000+ miles away, behind an international border crossing, and;
4.) I've moved on mentally... knowing she was forever lost to me, I've had to come to terms with it, and set my sights on the future. With women around here I might actually have a chance with.

I'm not really sure how she expected me to react to her getting in touch at this point. Did she think I was just sitting by the computer, waiting on word from her, hoping to patch things up and work around several pretty impossible barriers? That I completely understood what she did and was ready to forgive and forget after her leaving me in the dark for a year of confusion, mourning, anger, frustration, and self-regrets for ever letting myself be led down that path to begin with?

I tried that, didn't work. Almost was a victim of Drunk Driving.

The only ex's I hear from are ones that turned into friends, which is exactly 1 woman. Every other ex though? Phhhft. Nope, no dice, do no hear from again.

I'm not sure I could ever be friends with her now. Had the circumstances been different, maybe... Had she leveled with me from the first, and didn't keep me in the dark about everything since even before she left, just maybe I could have understood and been OK with a breakup.

But now... I just don't see it.
