Do the mojo news updaters become mods on there specific news topic?

I.E. I would be Star Wars, as thats what I know about, although I post about everything.

How does a single person become a mod, how many years of existance and active posting on the mixnmojo boards, and what quality posts do we, single members have to achieve to be honoured with such a great gift of Moderating?

i guess it just depends on who you know and how you ask, after all, if it turns out to be a mistake you can just be taken off again so there's no problem with being given a trial

well you'd have to ask spaff, not me, but to stay as a mod you just have to prove that you can keep your particular forum neat and looked after - oh and dont go banning everyone who doesn't agree with you

I think Remio and myself will be asking some regulars from the old board to mod. and then Remio will head the moderation team and appoint new mods.. or something

Oh sorry, I don't know what to do, I can't be anybody, or myself, I don't know how far can I go, or what should I do, it really creeps me out, luike when I don't sharpen pencil enough I can't write with it, and when I sharpen it too much, the head quickly disappears, only problem is that the sharpener won't sharpen moderately.

Being a mod isn't that particualy exciting- I'm a mod on escapemi, but maybe it's coz I mod the old school (the old MI games) in which nothing ever happens it seems so boring

Benjoyce- I personally don't think you'd be a good mod, I mean look at the incident with Metallus, you accused him of stalking you or some crap, and being abusive and all that when he never did such thing- you just seem like a trouble maker (maybe not intentionally, but you need to watch what you say)

The only thing with old school is you get to only really close posts or delete posts of people who are asking where they can get the games on abandonware- at least if I was modding the Harbor or Clues and Hints I'd have soooooo much fun in closing down topics from trouble makers

Coz most of the trouble makers reside in the Harbor and Clues and Hints

Honestly, I don't care who becomes an admin. I'd like to be one, but if I'm not I'm not gonna beg for it. Also, BJ (benjoyce for the slow ones, like him), stop trying to start fights with Metallus. Just leave him alone and he will leave you alone. It's that simple.

I'm admin on 2 forums and mod on 2 others (Lucas art fangames, BSBC, Double 'ard monkey, and fester's tiny shop) It is impossible. You spend most of your time on line reading every post on all the topics and never get around to attachly posting something your self. The one advantage of beging a mod or admin is that people give you respect but if you're already popular (Not me!

) You'll just have more work to do.

Respect - People don't respect you cause you're a mod. I'm a mod on the milegend and even though most people respect me there are still a few who try to start fights with you. Most people just treat you like a normal person and that's what you are really, only you can edit, delete and move their posts. I'm also an admin on my own site - http://www.brimstone.77th.com
