just like to say i think this is a great idea, i always like to read reviews before downloading anything, sometimes screenshots and description either make it look a hell of a lot better or a hell of a lot worse than it really is.

Fantastic idea. Don't be afraid to be critical/honest as it will help the downloaders as well as the creators.

they should do it with all the new files, and it doesn't have to be a big story, just a line or 2 about the file

I'd suggest adding a very conspicuous "review rating" on top of the user rating system. That'll help out those looking to download, as the user rating system may get one vote for every few hundred downloads. Players tend to trust official reviewers more than other players anyway.
