Help with installing maps

Ok, this has been my first time downloading anything for a game, and i have recently downloaded two maps. I have no idea how to get them to run on multiplayer. If anyone can help me, that would be greatly appreciated

If you want to serve your new map, just go to the gametype of your new map and select it from the list in Create Game.

Or you can find a server that is running it.

Sorry not12x, but a map isn't in a .cfg file... a map is in a .pk3 file. Check where you downloaded the zip from.

www.jk2files.com
www.jediknightii.net/files

are better places to dl maps.
