Why does the twins model look as if the pants are the Max Payne 2 models pants? Its almost exactly the same.
Did you use maxpayne as a base for the model?

uhm... no... that would be illegal
Dan Faxe sent me pics during the creation of it and if i remember... he actually started with the head and went down... so i kinda doubt he did that.

er... in their ghost mode. they're also a lot different looking (might need a seperate skin and have the dreads stick up). thats the normal mode.

well im sure it will be the same (already done) model, and the hair/ears/nose/any othr body part that stretches/moves can just be given a bone and the animation will take care of that, and then just... code it to turn on the green/trans shader. but thanks anyways.

That's not really doable since you'd have to have those bones active during all the normal player animations It would probably be easier to make it a seperate skin.

(haven't posted in a LONG time)
The mod is looking so great. Those are some of the best shots i've ever seen of a mod. They're so reallistic, so professional looking, and so sweet! I'm currently using the one of Smith with the light above his head as my wallpaper. Now for some questions:
1. Refering to the second pic of the last post: Did you guys create that car? If so, is it a vehicle or prefab?
2. Are you guys creating trenchcoat animations? That's the one thing I can't stand in the Matrix games and mods.
3. Are you guys creating a gun selecting system similar to The Specialists(if that's possible in JA)?

im pretty sure thrawn is just usng a static model, but we do have a fully working test car with wheels that spin and such ingame.
as in... moving stuff? i dunno... if OJP can get that physics working with clothing... maybe... otherwise just normal movements for when their legs move in them. since we cant really do them with physics, its kinda like each side of the coat sticks to the legs... which is pretty much realistic already.
well, the specialists gun selection is nothing new. i belive all HL mods use it because it's HL's basic selection thing, but yeah our's is gonna be similar.

Awesome video
I'm happy to see you release publicity videos showcasing the models and maps inagme, particularily the police SWAT team. My only concern is that the SWAT model could benifit from a few alternate skins for the face, if nothing but to mix things up a little.
Aside from that, great job!

er, i would say we need more coders/animators rather than modelers... we have a lot of them and a large portion of the models done.
we do have freyer as a coder and i check my old email and found one from lightninja about asking to animate for us... so as soon as he gets my email back, we should be getting back to normal. graves also just got morpheus in game for salvy, too. so... expect a bunch of new stuff this month.

eye brows look a litle thin and the hair for the guy on the right could use some work if you're going to be able to see it in-game..

No.
read the last 15 pages of this thread... has to be explained at least 50 times.

I must say this on The Matrix Unplugged:
This will undoubtedly be the best mod of ALL TIME!!!!
The models, the skins, the levels, they all look terrific! I can't wait to see this mod in action (providing I have a Broadband connection by the time it's released).
Keep up the amazing work guys!

I feel like I should reword some of my ?'s.
When I said trenchcoat animations I meant will the trenchcoats, capes, etc. move realistically or at all. I can't stand how most mods and enter the matrix have no clothes animations.
What I really meant in my third ? was will TMU add many more weapon choices than how many weapons are in JA. I ask this because all the JO/JA weapon mods I have seen only replace weapons and do not add weapons.
Now some new ?'s:
Why do u have to wait for the OJP for new animations. Can't you just create new bones(or tags?) for clothes and animate those?
Graves, it is great that you are updating trinity but could you also update niobe cause me and other people have seen many problems with the face and hair?
-Thank you
