er, ok, in order kinda
1st and 2nd to last question: we dont have a coder to do the complex linking of JA's physics and JA's player model clothing, so the only thing we can do is make them trencloats move relative to their legs, which actually looks pretty realistic most of the time.
the weapon system is gonna be coded and be new. its gonna look like max payne or HL with the categories like pistol/rife/etc.

Sorry about the proportions, though, our autoresizing script doesn't like non-3x4 dimensions.

I'm pretty much updating all my models as I get better. I'm sure I'll get it all right by the time this whole thing is released.

You know these models could very well be passed off as real models in a professional game, and here you are making a mod... for no money or anything...
I mean I made mario... but that took like a week to do, and you sit here and make perfect models by the bunches just for the community.

I mentioned this to Razor, Azymn, Ren, and Chosen and Unique.
Use bolt on clothing. Clothing that is weighted seperately than the models. From there enable ragdoll on them.
I see no reason how this wouldn't work.
If needed enable scaling to make the clothing fit other models. There are also the tail bones which are hardly ever used.

I'm glad to hear from you that realistic clothing is possible The way it is now just looks awful imo.
You completely lost me on your explanation though. Weigh the clothes to what? Do I have to build a separate bone structure? If you wouldn't mind, could you possibly walk me through the process?

I'm sure a new skeleton would work fine, but I was thinking along the lines of the humanoid skeleton. But don't waste your time. It would need special code changes to work. Which is why I said I mentioned it to the guys I did. Because their the heavy hitters, as far as coding goes.

From what I understand from Cazor. Light Ninja has offered his help. Whom I'm currently helping get anims compiled.

Anything I'd do would require heavy coding.
I could probably set up a system of hand to hand similar to the Enter the Matrix game. With many context sensitive moves. But you'd need a decent coder to make it work.

Blimey. I was thinking more along the lines of firing animations.
Anyway, I'll get back to you if we find such a coder.

Nice job, working in the 5th Element reference like that. You get my official seal of approval.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the other SWAT guy is the guy from the Rainbow Six game.

nice model ... but not accurate.
I've seen the M16 so often by now that I can tell wether the model is an accurate replica just by the first look. And imo the Barrel is way too slim at the front.
but it's still a nice model :>

yeah, when the person walks, the gun is lowered to about 45 degrees. or at least thats what it planned to do.
erm, what do you mean hellfire? ive seen a lot of people fire real guns, and with the fact that everyone in the matrix is super-human (why none of their bodies jump back at all when they fire even akimbo guns..and.. duh.. they're all super-human. uhm. yeah) its pretty accurate...

Heh, Wudan's Dragon project should be the thing that really gets JKA animation moving.
Obviously I tried and failed. Once Dragon comes out I'll probably release all my unfinished work and move on to something bigger.
