My lightsaber shaders are messed up intead of a nice sharpe looking blade it texture is a distorted the colors are flashing from red,green, yellow and blue. What is going on?

I think you posted this in the wrong place, but anyway...
Usually such problems occur because of old graphics drivers. Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics card?
Never trust a bartender with bad grammar, because they tend to shut themselves in behind the counter, and then all sorts of scum will attack you with blasters.
Change your graphics driver settings from "Performance" to "Quality". This will solve your problem. It happens in Neverwinter Nights too (another recent Bioware game) with GeForce FX cards.
