New Multiplayer Conversion (SSBM)

Yeh, I'm making a conversion for multiplayer into SSBM (Super Smash brother Melee) I could use some help, people who can skin, model (players or weapons) and map.

Then you tell me where it is! I asked a mod about this, and he said post it here. I can't think of where else, its not an editing request, because I'm doing it too, and I couldn't put it in the model forum or the mapping forum. So, where was I supposed to put it?

And, btw, there are Beta picures, so I'm showing off my work, and at the same time, requesting assistence.

I just got my gtk raidant and my jk2 radiant fixed,. so I can help on maps. But if thats not needed, im learning how to model with 3ds max. So count me in on the project

It's a request for editting material. I'm pretty sure it belongs there or in the general JKA forum.

Of course not! This is just if anyone could do it. The conversion itself would be the maps, and the weapons. The Player models would be a added bonus if anyone could do it. And also, it will take a long time to do the project, so We'd have a LONG time to see if anyone wnated to make models.

i know its hard, I've tried making some.

Nice idea but there are too many models to do, also you could convert some of other games to work much less. Anyway, the idea is not bad

Well, I can't model, but since SSBM does have an Anime-like feel to it, I could possibly paint a few characters and at least try to attach a skin to a few JO/JA models.

After all, who knows? I could possibly turn a perfectly good Shadowtrooper into a skin of Samus' power suits. Heck, I could even skin a Donkey Kong model and Captain Falcon if I put some effort into it (and if anyone comes out with a few character models)!

I know. I'm not mad or anything, sorry if it seemed like that. It was my fault, i shoulda said in the first post theres a low chance we'll have most of the models.

I can help out a lot more when i get JA... plus dont forget i can script, we can use that to have stuff happen during the maps.. it just depends on what you want

Two pink ones are duel, the red one is FFA. I just put the red one in there for testing, because I may be wrong, nut I think you need a regular spawn (FFA/Red) in order to test it.

BTW, we have a bomb-omb made, and I'm gonna skin a wampa to be Donkey Kong. I'll get a link to the bomb soon, once I get it to work (having problems with my webFTP)

And, well, I've still got to make a Samus skin. I just got Academy and won't be able to use it (I hope it'll work on my comp) 'til Wednesday. All that and I still can't pull up the trial version of PSP 8.

I got my NGC with SSBM some time ago, and I think of learning the ways of the modeller..if i might achieve something I'll join you, but don't count on it to happen, i tend to drop things easily

Aye, i'l just working on the basic shape, not the textures.

Y'know, I think there's gotta be a character missing. One that wasn't playable in the original Melee: Giga Bowser. Now that would rawk to play as him, or to see him as a rancor replacement!

IDEA!

a ladder sp conversion, each level you play a charecter. Last level, you play a Rancor (Giga Bowser, should'nt be that hard to reskin)
