I'm pregnant...
AND PIERCE BROSNAN'S THE FATHER!
Yes, it's time for another James Bond. The currently untitled Bond 21 stands to be Brosnan's final stint as 007. That means someone has to replace him...
If someone you seriously think should play him isn't on the list, I'll add it.
Personally, I think Christian Bale would be great, and apparently he's been offered the role... He's definatly got the look, and his acting is top-notch.
Tell me that doesn't scream James Bond...

It would be great if they chose to shake the franchise up a bit and do something a bit unexpected and cast somebody other than another suave U.K. resident. But it probably won't happen, because that wouldn't really be Bond anymore, would it?
But of that list, maybe Jude Law or Ewan McGregor.
Orlando Bloom is probably a bit too young, but he might be good... the ladies would swoon over him anyway.

Christian Bales was pretty good in Equilibrium, although I'd rather have him as one of the new villians in James Bond.
Personally, I'd like someone else from Equilibrium to play as Bond: Sean Bean. For those who dont know, he played Partridge and if you don't know who that is, he played Boromir in Lord of the Rings. They'd have to do a bit of work to give him the bond look, but they could do it.

Sean Bean was already in a Bond film, Goldeneye, he plays agent 006.
Christian Bale definitely has the whole Bond look down, but he's Batman now, so he may not do it, but then again, he may.

i find it funny how you put trainspotting next to ewan mcgreggor's name... because on a star wars forum we would only know ewan mcgreggor as the guy from trainspotting
anyway, yeah i agree Christian Bale would be a good choice.

'cause if it was Samuel L. Jackson it would just be weird
Anyway, Bond is a british guy and the british are white.
Doesn't Christian Bale look too young to be Bond? The Bonds are always middle-aged men.

John Cleese as Q was a great replacement when Desmond Llewelyn (the original Q) got killed in that car accident. He was a perfect replacement, and the fact that Q was training him in World Is Not Enough had everything fit perfect. Although I pray they don't place another horrid actress like Halle Berry in the Bond girl role. And who says the guy who played 006 can't be the next Bond. After all, the guy who plays the CIA American (I forget his name) also played in a previous Bond movie where he was a bad guy, I think he was a Russian or something.
Alright, alright. Let's just calm down and settle this over a nice cyanide pill eating contest, you go first.

That is quite possibly the most naive comment I have ever read. The British are not just white, get a clue man.
Personally I think Colin Farrell would suit the part.

basically, or the other way around. That'd be interesting.

There was talk that Will Smith might be the next one, but I heard that a LONG time ago and that probably got killed. A black Bond isn't really concievable because the whole thing is based off novels (it would be however interesting to see one for a change, even if it does end up sucking).
It'd be best if the 73 year old Connery came back and kicked some ass - he sure has showed he could in The League of Extraordinary Gentleman. Sean Bean would be a great choice, but he was 006 and got his head left on the antenna in GoldenEye.
In my opinion - the best next Bond would be Ron Livingston. There's his image, you'll know him from Band of Brothers, and as the lead of the movie Office Space. Throw him a British accent and I think he'd kick ass.
Extra image, in this one he has that Bond look actually, but it's pretty low quality. I can see the tripod one though O.o
