i have the game, and i run it in VDMSound, but after the opening sequence, none of the voices work and it just uses the damn text. Any idea on how i can fix that?:

Is it the old version, or the updated one that came with Armed and Dangerous, I know that that one has sound issues.
Just because people think what I say don't make sense, doesn't mean I don't like popsicles.

I have both the Sam and Max CD and the Armed and Dangerous. The Sam and Max CD doesn't have sound at all and the Armed and Dangerous looses voice when you enter the tent at the Carnival and it won't come back. Anyone know how to fix this?

the A&D one always loses sound when you enter the tent, its sound is programmed to 0's (off) in one of the files

I've never had the floppy version, but doesn't it have voices at the beginning and then only text for the rest of the game? I know it's like that for DOTT. So if you have the floppy disk version, that's the reason.
If you're using the CD version though, definately go get SCUMMVM.
