A novel about the black metal scene in the early 90s. Fictional, but based on real events.

Well, it starts out that for highschool (Catholic school) we have to donate our time to charity, 15 hours of it.
So, like I did last year, I went to St. Vincent de Paul's thrift store today and donated my time to work on the collection area. I stayed out there collection all kinds of stuff from people with my old co-worker who had trouble with english and sorted the stuff. I worked for 2 hours and was ready to call it a day when this one car comes in. I say to the guy that this is my last car.
A woman steps out of her Subaru and opens the back. Then I spot a shopping bag full of computer boxes, and I can make out the words PAINKILLER through the bag. She trys to give us a keyboard but the guy says, "No, we can't take computer stuff." She looks at the bag of games and asks us if we can take games, well, the old guy starts thinking about it, to keep him from saying no I say, "We can take computer programs, just no computer parts." So I grab the bag of games from her and I walk away looking at it. It had WarHammer 40k, Painkiller, World of Warcraft, and some other ****ty games, all look like they were never used!!!
So I grab Painkiller and WoW and put it on a table, and toss the rest into a bin. I say that I have to go so I grab them and walk into the back room. I say to this one woman that works there and tell her that I was done and wanted to get something that was donated but didn't have a price tag on it. She takes it from me and asks how much. I was going to say $10 each (I was carrying $20 with me) but before I could say it, the woman next to her says just to put $2.99(!) on both of them. She looks at me and says "Good deal huh?" And chuckles. I just kind of blurb out a yes and walk into the store area.
I jump into the line and get Painkiller and WoW for six ****ing dollars!, $70 if new. And almost **** myself. So now I'm home, and I just finished installing Painkiller and now I'm about to play. I'll try WoW later and see if it works, even if it doesn't, it was only $3!

WOW! No pun intended. WOW is selling at GameStop for 29.99 right now, which is a hefty cut from the usual 49.99. Too bad you have to pay the monthly fees on that game, but you can buy the subcription cards if you don't have a credit card. Customers tell me that WOW is the PC equivilent of crack cocaine.
I have not bought anything cool lately, as I am saving money for X-mas gifts, but I did trade some stuff, in and pulled my credit from my XBOX360 reserve. So far I got about $174 in store credit, and a $10 gift card. I'm putting all of that into the PSP i'm getting.

It's true. My friend is addicted. I've had to struggle with the urge to buy it myself. It has awesome landscapes, and the powers, weapons, characters, etc are amazing. It reminded me of all the pretty parts of KotOR, like Korriban and Kashyyyk.
Plus, the fan videos are hilarious.

Huh. WoW is apparently the online version of the bastard child of cocain, heroin, and crystal meth, and not only did I quit after two months, it's 'cause I got bored.

My mom and dad bought me 2 pair of jeans for 40 bucks, and they gave them a free 100 song downloads from emusic.com. I was browsin around, and couldn't find anything, then, as a joke, searched for Flogging Molly, a band that few know of, and bam. In an hour I had downloaded all 100 songs, which totaled 3 flogging molly cds, 2 dropkick murphy cds, 1 bowling for soup cd, and 1 Millencolin cd.
Hell yes

few know of flogging molly? Surely you jest. I know of nobody who is unaware of them.
My most recent purchase was some new indoor wheels for my hockey skates. They're working out nicely, since my old ones were cracked and falling apart.
I also bought Zelda : Wind Waker for me gamecube and have been enjoying that greatly.

Demos are a really good thing because we get a first look on the game(s) coming out and with that in mind modern technology is very useful to have.

Normally I don't buy stuff for myself during the holidays. But the prices were too good, and I was too weak to resist the urge:
For about $37:
For about $15:
Holiday sales are always the lowest, why not use them for yourself once in a while?

I picked up Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for 20 bucks at target today.
I'm actually kind of pissed because I found out today that Half Life 2 runs on my computer, and I would much rather have had that then Chaos Theory, now I gotta save 50 bucks instead of 30 >.> <.<
Oh well, Chaos Theory still kicks ass

Kickass album all the way.
Another good one.
and then my favourite.
This is like Madden 2005, except with the QB passing cone and Superstar Mode. They used the same graphics engine which really disappointed me and it has the same feel, as well. Overall, I liked 2k5 better.

But I still felt like it justified the $50 I paid for to get the exclusive liscense by buying an EA game. Challenge Everything... and buy out the competition man!
