I bought this shirt when I went to see DragonForce and Turisas. The DF shirts were ugly as **** so I decided to get the Turisas shirt instead. Plus they were ****in' amazing to see anyway.
Though I did get a this DF toque.
I must admitted, DragonForce were quite impressive. Better than I expected.

I've pretty much sat down and read the whole thing in one to two settings. Oh my god, I'm in love.
"A few times in my life I've had moments of absolute clarity. When for a few brief seconds, the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I've lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be."

After the 4th friend of mine to get their WoW account hacked got hacked yesterday on both his accounts, I decided to go the WoW site and change my password. In doing so I found out they had this little gizmo...
$6.50 is worth every freakin penny if it keeps my account secure.

Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.

I used to just copy/paste my password. Keyloggers can't do **** with ctrlv, but that little gizmo looks cool.

I suppose we are all throwing up our Christmas loot?
I got a bunch of Christmas decorations, a lot of nick knacks for my place, and this:
Nikon Coolpix p60. Little bit nicer than my last camera, which got stolen out of the back of my car during it's abduction. And that is a very good thing. I am actually a pretty decent photographer, and I was really missing my camera.
Also got Predator on Blu-Ray. One of my favorite action flicks of all time:
Not all Blu-Ray movies always look that great. Especially the older ones. I have to say, for a relatively old movie, this film looks surprisingly well in High Definition!

Seriously, if someone knows a site that provides good sized game cover art I will be eternally grateful.
Gifty:
Got myself with gift monies.
A wallet, and some other stuff.
Did get my brother Devil May Cry 4, but it was off Goozex for $1, so meh. And got my sister MySims on PC... which she hasn't bothered to play yet because it's pretty much a dumbed down version of The Sims... a series she has been familiar with for more than 6 years. But it was the only game I could find that would be exclusively for her. It was $20 anyway... Does kinda suck that my hours have been vastly cut back, going from making around $140-200 a week to only $40-80 a week.
Edit:
I'm going to take my opprotunity to express what Prince of Persia is and where it's parts sorta come from. (In my mind).
- It has puzzles like PoP: Sands of Time.
- It has movement like Asssassin's Creed and Shadow of the Colossus.
- It has a setup for the environment much like Shadow of the Colossus.
- Hero comes into unknown land with a mysterious past with no clear way to leave.
- Hero is not welcome there.
- Hero stirs up trouble involving past history and must set things right.
- Hero's home base is a huge temple in the middle of a large field.
- Temple has a series of symbols that indicate progression of the game.
- Hero goes to separate parts of the world to fight in arenas.
- Hero has the ability to create a signal to show him the way.
- Hero is trying to save a girl.
- Hero has a trusty steed.
- Game is about mostly exploring and getting to places with important one on one battles spread throughout.
- Elika and the rest of the game nods towards Ico.
- Hero and Girl must fix world and escape.
- Girl is being oppressed by her mother/father and is kept against her will.
- Hero inadvertently finds and then helps Girl.
- Girl's mother/father is Queen/King, making her a Princess.
- Girl is the love interest of the Hero in the story.
- Girl wears wispy white clothing.
- Environment is a place that used to be lived in, but is now empty and dead.
- Environment occasionally contains amazing mechanical pieces.
- Prince of Persia borrows from Okami.
- Healing trees to purge the land of evil is exactly what you do in the first 5 hours of Okami.
- Just purging evil from the land in general.
- Okami and Prince of Persia take a high fantasy view on Japan/Persia and display it in a highly stylized way, using cell shading.
- There are moments that involve running straight up walls.
- Transition of evil land to pure land is exactly the same.
- Fertile Grounds = Guardian Sakura Tree
- Copious amount of real world religion is used in the mythos of the story.
- Prince of Persia has moments where you get onto a plate and get launched through the air on a predetermined path, just like the lauching stars in Super Mario Galaxy. Same with Light Seeds and Starbits/Coins/Stars/etc.
So yeah, anymore?

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get hold of a Wii Fit yet. I'm damned if I am going to encourage the profiteering that is going on by paying over the RRP, I have seen them listed for double the price on the run up to Christmas .

Man, I'd like to order my own, but I have a lot of difficulty trusting a site that says "lol" while trying to sell me something.

He has some weird smelling genitals and he's very proficient. I found out about this site from another forum thread on a different website. Around a dozen people all ordered some withing a day or two of each other so everyone is getting theirs in the mail now. They all say they smell funky. It's probably the rubber, only way I can describe it is as "oil farts". :V

i installed windows 7 on a test computer, and i'm counting that as a good thing. i haven't played around with it too much, but so far it's using less in the way of resources than vista and it has minor changes to the theme (the most noticeable is the task bar seems to be influenced by kde).
yay

I installed Win7 to my laptop and old old old desktop as well. MS is really impressing me with this one.
A while back I settled a bet with a friend by installing both Vista Ultimate 64 bit edition, Kubuntu 32 bit, and Kubuntu 64 bit onto my laptop. The bet was that I could get WoW to run smoother on unsupported OS' than I could on natively supported Vista. Vista ran it at a smooth and steady 4 FPS average. Kubuntu handled it at around 15-25 fps (not great, but my laptop isn't exactly made for gaming).
So after installing Win7 to my laptop, first thing I did was copy my WoW folder over and test it out. With the aero transparency disabled, it ran more or less the same as it did on XP and Kubuntu.
tl;dr MS has got their s*** together.
