Just got home from seeing these glorious bastards (Streetlight Manifesto) live.
Seen em live once before, and more so than last time, failed to dissapoint. They're just pure energy.
Oh yeah, Reel Big Fish where the headliners, but I don't like them as much. Don't get me wrong, they're good, but Streetlight is just ska perfection.

SKATE 2 AAAAAA!!!!
Was waiting till midnight last night waiting for the demo. As always with midnight internet releases... it was late, so I went to bed at around 12:45am. Then I got it at 7:30am before school. It's awesome. Some graphical quirks here and there. On-foot controls a little janky. And dammit, even for me the new moves are complex (and I played Skate one for at least 80 hours overall). Oh... and the demo has a timer like the Skate 1 demo...
Best explains my feelings:
Still, download it dammit... ALL OF YOU!
But the object moving is gonna be awesome... gonna totally exploit it for some crazy stuff some day.

Battle is a pure form of expression. It is heart and discipline, reduced to movement and motion. In battle, the words are swept away, giving way to actions-- mercy, sacrifice, anger, fear. These are pure moments of expression.

I just got back from Theaterfest, the largest gathering of Theater students in the United States.
It's held at University of Illinois and thousands of people were there, it was an absolute blast. I saw some amazing shows and got to take loads of photos with my new D80, so I'm pretty happy

Haha, I'd take that deal.
Everyone tells me I should play Left4Dead, but I hate paying 60 bucks for video games.

I am so glad to know I am not the only one. I bought that game used, and actually returned it because I did not like it at all. I didn't like the single player, and the multiplayer was even worse. People have been blowing smoke up my ass about that game for about 2 months, and I don't get it. At best, it's a HL2 mod, but hardly worth $60 OR the $48 I paid for it. I HAD high hopes for that game, but it really let me down.

I guess it's just a case-by-case kind of game. You'll notice I have names in my sig; these are the same friends that I play with every time. I couldn't imagine playing it with random people every time like any other multiplayer game.
I've had an amazing time playing it myself, so I'm sorry you had such a bad time with it. :/
