Pro, works like a charm.

This is what you need:
BFG nVidia gForce 6800 Overclocked.
You can get it for $249 (the cheapest anywhere... I looked all over the web) at Outpost.com.
Here is the LINK.
I got it last week and it runs Battlefront at full resolution with everything all the way up.

I'd go with the XT.

I'm with IS on that one, Usually the performance difference between Pro and XT isn't worth the price, but for 20 bucks... go with XT.

well I've had lots of friends who've had a lot of overheating from their 9600 and 9700 pro's. They just over heat too easily. The XT's I've never heard of overheating issues.

I have a 9600XT and it works perfect in counterstrike source... The game is lame but hey thats life... We waste money on these things... I hope hl2 lives to expectations.. D3 was brilliant and i'm having fun in Battlefront..
My AMD64 3500+ makes my 9600XT not so bad after all.. oh and the 1gb of ram.. lol... hahahaahahhaa
