Search?

Is it possible to Search in this forum? I've tried but get a response saying it has been disabled by the administrator.

If so, why? I've never heard of a forum where they DID NOT want you to search before posting.

Shok,

Sure does, thanks.

Of course, your response begs the question - How did you find those answers without being able to search?

I skimmed a couple of stickies about forum rules and posting. I also checked the first couple of pages. Didn't see anything about why search doesn't work.

Maybe someone could post a sticky in each forum that explains why you can't search. At least until it's enabled again. Otherwise, it seems like there will be a bunch of annoying posts about things that have already been answered. Like, say, this post.

TK,

Well, where do you want it to be. I came here looking for help for Jedi Academy. I couldn't do a search which is something I am used to doing in almost every forum. So I asked why. Someone was kind enough to respond.

I thought it might be a good idea to let other new people know(by posting a sticky) why they can't search this forum.

Is that a poor suggestion?

The Forum Help & Feedback Center forum perhaps?

This forum is for discussion of Jedi Academy after all, not forum problems.
