Autoexec problem

Hi Guys i a friend of mine has a problem with jk2 1.02. The game worked fine on his pc when he had Windoows 98, but since he has Windows XP he can't play anymore. When he starts Mp he gets in console a line that says: couldn't exec autoexec or something close to that ...
Can you guys plz help me with this problem???

The server always looks for an optional file called autoexec.cfg and if it doesn't find it the server says "couldn't exec autoexec.cfg" and moves on. It doesn't mean anything.

Your friend needs to make sure all his video and audio drivers are up to date.
