Post Let it swing! ...alternative Nightlight Menu

Couple of weeks ago, I had an idea to let the guys hangin around on our homepage. But in a special way, I wanted them animated. You guys dont know to much about the 3d background work of mine. ( heh if someone would care )Its alot of work for one guy, thats for sure. Iam not very skilled yet, but lets call it an adventure I have some problems "animating " the guys propely yet, but its goin on.
The image on the page you´re seein now is a bit photoshopped, heh sorry Have to work out some clippings.
I got problem with the renderer too, look at no2 eyes, one is black..it always gets black... mysteries of life.

Well...thats the background.
I ripped off the homepage with IE and tried out the other menu. It looks weird because of my great web design skill, but you get a better "view" of it.

So here it is
Nightlight rip

A small 600k avi who wants get it in better quality ( to see my mistakes better :P )
men3.avi

Just for note, there will be no change to this alternative menu, this is just fun

And here..a small gag, I would like to call it a present, but it isnt.

Have fun guys, keep nightlight alive =)

sal

It looks awesome! However, like you said, it will have to just be for fun. The animated image's file size is over 2 MB, which is more than a little evil for a website to put up on every page, and would make web hosts more than a little suspicious

Cool to see some of your animation skill though!

Guy.

Ooooh, their legs dangle eerily. Mmmm.

I like it Sal. It renews my faith in you and your animating talents (not that my faith was ever challenged).

P.S. Tito Puente beats Beaker any day.

I really like it. It really is a shame that there's no ROOM to swing in the menu, they'd keep hitting the sides!

I can't wait to see about ten characters hanging off that bridge. Longest menu in the world...

Haha, yeah. Especially since Death looks like he might let go at any moment!

Superb animation, Sal! It's looks really realistic and... swingy.

Heh, that's a great animation. I really like the way their legs swing...

But yeah, it's a pretty big image (file size and dimensions)... it took a while to load.

I just like big renders, so you can see all detail ( although there isnt much )

Like stated above, this menu will never get used.
