Stay tuned for Part 2, where we recall the amazing Badger epidemic and the fabled 1000 post party.

Interesting stuff. Hmm, I think you're missing some stuff that led up to the site's creation. Before the site became its own thing, the GFN hosted some of 8 of 12's fiction, including TDLM Part 1 (the fiction, not the radio show). As far as I remember, 8 originally posted it in the Blue Casket (another forum in the GFN for fan stuff, it's still there, just kind of a ghost town), here. And after that, I think I asked 8 to join up with the GFN staff to write articles or something (still waiting on some there, man). I can't remember exactly how we came to the point where we ended up with a hosted site here, but I think 8 was planning to make one and having bandwidth issues with his current host or something like that, so I offered him the webspace.
Maybe 8 can corroborate or dispute this account further.
Guy.

Wow. I'm really impressed. It looks so cool. With your permission, I'll give you what info I have and this can be thrown on the 'website history' page.
And yeah, I can fill in a fair few gaps before the start of the forums, as well as after... I think mainly you're working from forum posts, yes?
And I found the Lost Cause pictures on a backup CD.

Yeah, I was going on forum posts. I meant to include a disclaimer to that effect, but it was late.
Strangely, though that was probably Nightlights busiest time, the really exciting stuff on the forums seems to happen later. Just wait and see.

Calling Holdios. If you read this could you send me a picture of Number 2's Special Blend? I'd like it for the next part. Just posting a link would be great

I used the ugly pic because I thought it looked like the oldest one, and as I am talking about very early on in the development process, I thought it fitted. Also, it is one of the pics not very many people are aware of, and I aim to enlighten .
As for bossmilky, I have no idea where he's got to. He was pretty active in the forums before 'The Drought' (no offense 8 of 12). Holdios seemed to know him. Where is he Holdios?

Dunno if it's fixable, but I didn't make the mustard. It was Bossmilky and Incredible_D
As for the other part, I dunno, Bossmilky doesn't visit the forums much anymore, though I dunno why. You're prolly better off asking his brother, Al (Better known as The Incredible D).
He still listens to everything though , since D downloads it all.

Bugger, your right. Sorry 'bout that. This is embarrasing. I'll change it for the final version.
And as for http://www.weebls-stuff.com/toons/29/ , it's nothing on the badgers .

Here is the final part. Unfortunately it's a bit sparse, but ces't la vie I guess.
And I know that there are some design inconsisencies from the older ones, but have faith. All will be well in the end.

Sparse? Sparse my arse!
Ok, I had to get that out of the way. If you can find it somewhere in your Nightlight Hearts to forgive me, I'd be grateful.
Seriously though, modesty's nice and all, but these are great, nto sparse or embarrassing. very entertaining and in the style of Nightlight. Good work.

Reading this history, it becomes apparent that I have said nothing memorable or meaningful.

I'll include that quote in the next part in a year or so .
And I tried to be modest because that way it's harder to look a fool. But you can't deny a bit less happened in this one than the last 2.

A bit sparse? That'd be my fault. I don't think ANYTHING Nightlight went online in 2004. So it was just forum activity.
You've gotta admit, this year's been better so far... right?
Okay, I threw March out the window... I'm not doing this on purpose, I swear.

Nah, this year's been good. I think it was last year that was bad, or possibly just the end of last year, or maybe just the middle. I'm not sure. I remember there was one point when I thought Nightlight had died and 8 of 12 said "oh ye of little faith! " or something. Hee, that reminds me of the time the Christmas logo was still up 7 months after Christmas and I complained and 8 said "looks like SOMEONE lost the Christmas spirit". Ah, good times. Say - should someone replace the slogan now, actually?
Great timelines, Limpo - I particulalrly like the Darth Eggplant number 2 picture. Did he make any more character pictures?
