ya good idea hmm... so what kind of equipment do you think they should use in rc 2
Any equipment would have to depend on when it is set - although the modular weapon idea was nice, if there were a sequel i'd definately like to see more variety in weapons and equipment.
ok hmm what would you want them to be equipt with in the Galactic Civil War era? whether it be imperial or rebel?
If they were rebels, they'd probably have a lot of stolen Imperial equipment - so I imagine that the equipment for both would be fairly similar - and it wouldn't be the Galactic Civil War without the E-11 blaster rifle.
hmm good point and yeah it wouldnt.
and i know its the wrong thread but congrats, and i have a question for you real quick.
What exactly is a Moderator and what do they do?

I Would Think They Should Use An Imperial Version Of The DC-17 Blaster, Because Even If It Did End Up Them Joining The Rebels, They Would Still Probably (If It Follows Up From RC) Start Is Imperials. And Of Course An Imperial Version Of The DC-155 Pistol, And Obviously They Wouldn't Need Electroshock Grenades Because There Isn't Anymore Droids.
They Would Probably Still Have Concussion And Thermal Grenades. Maybe They Could Still Have The Flashbug Grenades Too, Plus They Would Have The Anti-Armor And Sniper Attachments, With A Weapon Pick-Up Slot.
Now, Anyone Think That RC2 Should Have Same Squad Commands? They Might Be Able To Add Extras If They Assign Another Extra Button To Hold Other Than 'A' While Pressing The Directional Buttons.
i had an idea for RC2 story. the Battle of Kashyyyk we see in RC is the 1st. due to thinning Republic forces, the Republic would have to withdraw from certain planets to bolster forces elsewhere, giving the Seps the opportunity to move back to Kashyyyk, making teh battle in RotS the 2nd Battle of Kashyyyk. well, Scorch is suffering from chronic nightmares and eventually sneaks onto a shuttle. Boss and Fixer stow away. the shuttle lands on Ando (Aqualish homeworld and Sep planet) and Delta finds Sev horrendously scarred and bruised from interrogation. they get off the planet and return to a Venator-class Star Destroyer. they are caught and face court martial. but rather than be executed, they are sent to investigate recent surge of Sep activity on Qiilura (Hard Contact setting). Delta discovers that a small fraction of the bio lab was destroyed and the research on the anti-clone virus continues. they track down all clues across the known galaxy, ending up on Vjuun where construction of a massive ship is near complete. through master stealth skills, Delta get aboard the ship which is set to travel to Coruscant and bomb the planet with canisters full of the anti-clone virus. after assassinating the head of the project on the bridge, Delta works their way to the main reactor and destroy the reactor. they run like hell to the nearest hangar, nab a shuttle and make it off the ship. they then find out that the ETA to Coruscant was 10 minutes.
rather cliche, but so long as Sev returns, right?
hmm sounds good but sw games arent generally that short especially sequeals, it good no doubt but they would need more than that, got any more good ideas?
Oh and welcome to LF.
Ordo-"If only there was a manuel on females.."
Kal- "If there is i never got my copy"
Walon Vau would assist Delta whenever possible. the head of the virus project is a Kaleesh named Durag Qil Mulitee. Dooku is seen in a hologrom recieving a status report from Mulitee.
thats just about it. ive forgotten a bunch of stuff about it since i have moved onto brigger projects.
You could definitely write a fanfic with that awesome content bro.
LucasArts should come here every once in a while. They could get some ideas.
I, for one, approve of the Ewoks. They're a fine representation of the primitive natives doing better in their own environment than the invading white man.

PC and PS3. Maybe a Wii version. Nevermind that last part.
@Below: I don't have a 360. I have a PS3.

Why PS3? It Wasn't On PS2, It Was On Xbox And PC. PS3 Isn't Nearly As Good As 360.
If It Was On PS3, That Would Just Suck...
I agree with that we should just stick to pc and xbox if we add wii to it, it will for sure mess up the graphics and make the game look bad like it did in call of duty world at war and ps3 is just a big no. Sony has enough games to play they dont need this one

Thats Exactly What I Ment. Even On RC1, It Was Only Xbox And PC, So Why Should Sony And Nintendo Get Something From It? Xbox Is Way Better Graphics Than PS3 (PS3 Is Barely Getting To Xbox Original Graphics).

You're missing the bigger picture. A cross-platform release (assuming an RC2 were ever to be made) would only benefit the franchise, and LucasArts at large.
Not only would it generate more revenue (thus funding the development of other games, and potential sequels), it would bring more fans to the series - many people who don't have a powerful PC or an Xbox360 might play it if there were a cross-platform release.
Yes, I Know That, But It Would Mess Up The Graphics If It We're To Go On Wii, Because A Wii Doesn't Have Graphics Close To The 360. And Besides, Who Would Buy It For Wii When It Would Be So Much Better On 360? The PS3 Would Be A Maybe, But Wii Wouldn't Work.

Firstly, I would say that graphics should be secondary to gameplay. Secondly, there are plenty of games that are released for both the Wii and 360, and they look brilliant on their respective platforms.
It's not simply a case of every platform having to use the same graphics as the weakest platform it's available for.

many of the thing in the game gives you a taste of what a second game might be. and in a second republic commando it would be cool if you could choose between each character and each of them had different stories. there are so many options!!!

If they do do a RC2. What they should do is play it in 2 point of views so for first 2 missions your delta squads new recruit and you are doing missions set by the jedi. After those 2 missions you go to sev. He is trapped in a cell and the aim is too try and escape. When sev gets to a certain point it will then go back to the new recruit and you do some missions that lead to sevs capture and then again you try to move further on in the escape then back to the recruit etc.In the end you go to the building were sev is and in the middle of it you find by coincidence meet sev in the building and you have a small happy moment and then you see a scene were you hear through the speakers that the self destruct sequence of the building is initiated and the aim is to now getaway. I dont think that should be the end but its an idea

They should have the first part of RC2 be a rescue Sev mission, then they could skip a few chapters and go to the transition to Imperial Commandos.

Well think about it in the books Kal, The NUlls, Fi, Omega, Vau, and Bardan have to be in it since they are going in to rescue delta and omega. And you should be imperial commandos with Niner, Darman, Boss, Scorch and Fixer. Once the commandos are found they desert and you head back to rescue SEV
Oops looks like i forgot to say im new but thankyou for the warm welcom RC#38. But as you can see they are no longer 4 men in a commando sqaud (so i believe). Their in th Empire which could have new rules for the teams. I dont know just a thought from the darkness. But i think i see your point bring in some new gameplay but keep some things the same like the enitre squad. Is that what you mean?
Well, I Didn't Mean It Couldn't Be Possible, Because Maybe The Empire Might Put Them Together For Their Own Reasons And They Could Change The Rules A Little Bit...... I Don't Know, All I Can Do Is Hope And Wait For A Sequal (If There Will Be One, But There Probably Won't Be).
There was a hint that they might make a second one. In the force unleashed there is a hidden object in one of the levels. It is Delta 38's helmet. they wouldnt do that for no apparent reason. Would They?
That's Been Brought Up In This Topic A Couple Times, And If They Were Gonna Make A Sequal They Would Have By Now. Too Bad They Didn't Just Make A Sequal After They Started Selling RC In 2005. =(
they should make the delta squad find sev and then the omega squad and the delta suqad become a two squads within a squad...like they both split up even though they have the the same objectives
just a thought

There should be a choice, if you want to follow the Empire or the Rebels or even Skirata(sorry haven't read all the books so that option might be impossible)
I think the squads should remain 4 men but instead, how about you can go through all of them, and not HAVE to play with Boss, or Niner or someone else. Maybe something like advanced control and TEAM MODE and SOLO MODE like in KotOR.

Like choose what commando you'd want to be? I've read the books and it wouldnt really be to the rebels, more to Walon Vau ad Skirata. And also, now graphics, and sound quality is much better than it was in 2005. It would make a much better experience.
Yes, the graphics could be greatly improved and the gameplay could be tweaked a little, but only a little
I haven't read more than Hard Contact so I can't really say which side they'd pick, but back then there even WASN'T the Rebellion, so I guess Skirata is the only choice. And maybe a chance to push the Empire back? That wouldn't be that bad! Maybe take care of DV and Palpatine? Why the hell not!

Yeah, and perhaps more choices in customizing your multiplayer guy, like more skins, voices, and maybe a couple options as to which gun you start with, and definately more maps.
