Avatar/Sig Pic Request/Discussion Thread (Read First Post)

ok I've noticed in the swamp there is a thread like this but since I'm here most of the time I thought I'd make a thread so people who are artistically challenged can request a custom sig pic or avitar

this will work like the mod request threads in holowan

note: can a mod sticky this thread plz

my request is a Kenshin himura avatar that shows him about ready to pull his sword out of its sheath

these instructions will make it easier for those who help make sigs and those who want to get into making sigs jobs easier

1. clearly state all your requirements (most seem to be doing this)

2. if at all possible Provide the image(s) you want in it.

and remember people do have lives so be PATIENT

This is a good idea, jedigoku. I will use my superpowers to sticky it. Wait a minute, I have to figure out how with this new system...

Also, if possible it will help if people can provide a picture of the kind of thing they want so artists can work from that...

What kind of "background" do you want?
Something transparent? Or a lil more detail?

If you like it, I can clean it up some more.
If not, It only took about 10mins. And most of that was finding a background.
I thought that one looked the most animeish. (opps, I think I just made up a word)

I think I could be happy if someone would just think of a nifty text sig for me... Im artistic enough I could come up with a picture sig if I wanted too.

Its not a new avatar request, but I would like it if somebody could take the white line away from my avatar. Its an animated gif and I don't have a program that can edit those...

Im thinking of changing my avatar.But unfortunatley i know squat about creating pictures i can only use existing ones.What would you need from me to be able to create one.Im after a hooded sith type character with a lightsabre i would like it to be red but if the redness could be changed slightly to be a bit different that would be great any chance you could help.Or anyone for that matter.Thanks.

Yeah it looks good to me.I did originally have a avatar of sideous but it wasnt as good as that one it could just do with a little work on the sabre.Thanks

Can anybody change the colour of the lightsabre in my avatar i know it should be red as its a sith but i fancy trying different colours maybe orange or silver.I would do it but i havent a clue how to go about it.Cheers.

I think this looks better than the whole picture. If you want it to be the whole pic instead of the cutout just let me know.

I just selected the area (basically the whole pic besides his face) and went to hue/saturation and changed the hue to somethink like +30 and it changed to orange.

I think it looks better like that, but if you want it to be like your old one... I'll get it done soon. Though I am going to cut off part of the end so it is a square instead of a rectangle. It should be done soon, I didn't save the big pic as orange, so I have to redo it.
