Just got an e-mail about the new Lucasforums. I forgot all about this place, the lack of new Monkey Island didn't really keep me around
It was 5 YEARS ago that I signed up here anticipating Escape from MI.
So yeah, hi to anyone who remembers me. Also a shout out to Malchick if he still hangs around here

We were playing some game in the MI Chat, and some fool decided to use Oil Filters, I think it was some stupid thing like we had to guess what he was on about, what a fool. And so the war on Oil Filters began.

Well... thats not much of a surprise. I thought I would be another one of those oldies come back.. Well, technically I never really used to hang around on the LucasForums. Used to hang around on #monkey-island when it was on DAL-net. Ahh.. the good old days. Skyfox running a thriving Scummbar, monkey islanders fragging eachother to tiny little bits in shoddy uQareK skins. Anyone here still remember the old x-mas (pronounced eks-mass) polls for the #m-i channel... with midi-music and animated gifs. And those months when everyone was looking forward to the Plunder3d mod, but it for some reason just stopped. I think GregD said he had problems getting a programmer. Such terrible waste of good productive mod-making time..
