You can also pile many vehicles together as long as one is touching the ground. If you remove the ground vehicle, the others will stay, but you cannot add any more.

i once landed a jedi starfighter on a droid starfighter. when the CIS fighter took off, the Jedi fighter went up along with it but stayed there when the CIS moved away, i had to use a jetpack just to get to it.
This came to me in an accident, because I was firing after a droid who was attempting to get into a star fighter, but it reached the fighter before I was able to destroy it and I didn't have time to pull up so I landed on the destroy nearly exploding, but the fighter took off, but I soon slid off and was stuck there and the bad thing about it was I died on impact when I tried jumping out
