Favorite Star Wars Game?
What is your favorite Star Wars game or series of games?
My favorite is the Knights of the Old Republic series. If I had to choose one or the other I would probably choose Knights 1 because I thought the story was better, but I like all the new features that come with TSL.

X-Wing series myself, with the exception of X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, which didn't really have a story to it.
I used to play Galaxies too, but the rampant Jedi in a Jedi less time, and the complete lack of understanding what the time period the game was supposed to be set in (few months after ANH) was about by the Devs.

I'd have to pick the KOTOR series. We'll see what happens when EaW comes out.

oooooh...KOTOR came in a close third really.
1. SW Rebellion (yeah, I know I'm odd)
2. X-Wing vs TIE Fighter
3. KOTOR
4. SW Rogue Squadron
5. Shadows of the Empire (very fond memories of playing the crap outta this game)
(Tie) 5. Rebel Assault (yeah, go ahead and make fun of me. I played this game forever though when I was little. It's part of the reason I got really interested in SW heh)

I loved the cutscenes, wish there were more and wish every game these days do it! But again, its all about the money

KOTOR, especially K1. Something about it was my first real RPG. With lightsabers.

As much as it sucked in comparison to many other games, the Rebel Assualt series was ****ing fun.

My vote goes to KOTOR series. Even with some of the shortcommings of K2, there are still fun to play!
Second place would probably be Rogue Squadron. Its been years since I played it, though.
Soon, I'll have to see where EaW fits in!

this is extremely hard for me coincidering how many games I've played...
hmm
when EaW comes out it is likely to be my most favorite game.
A tie between Galactic Battlegrounds(Suprising right) and KotoR
2. Jedi Knight: Outcast + Jedi Academy
3. Battlefront I + II
4. Rouge Squardon Series
5. Jedi Knight Series(Before Outcast)
6. Star Wars: Rebel Assault(Old and in one of my friends opinion a treasure for any star wars fan)

Isn't that the one where you just go through a semi-movie kinda thing? If thats the one then yes it was fun indeed.

My favorite game is TIE Fighter, I loved playing it as a kid. But for this poll I choose the Jedi Knight series because I love the third person shooting and the story. BUT I must say that I love the Kotor series as well, I believe it is the only game that really makes me feel imersed inside the movies. Complete with storyline and action.

Definitely KOTOR. Only a person on the Light Side would think otherwise.

Damn right you should cry!
I voted KotOR, but the best Star Wars game ever made is "Tie Fighter".
Nothing comes close to the fun of flying for the Empire.

TIE Fighter by far. Awesome music, story, and atmosphere. Graphics are more than dated, but you forget about that half an hour into the game.

For real. It requires you to think, though, managing these and those systems on your fighter, so to most of the Rogue Squadron kids around in this age of arcade games, it'll probably be a bit too complicated .

Ditto. Galaxies has been ruined by Jedi-loving whiners . I haven't played it in ages because of that.

I'd say the KOTOR series, JK series, and X-Wing series are my favorites. Hard to pick between them, although KOTOR may be the winner.

Same here. KotOR tops first, with JA in second. KotOR 1 and 2 both had super compelling storylines with great characters and gameplay. JA's story was low par, but multiplayer is fun, if you play on the right servers.
I'd also put in a word for the Rogue Squadron games. Sure beats JA vehicles.
edit: I almost forgot: the original Star Wars arcade minigame in one of the Rogue Squadron games was beast. In many cases, I had more fun playing that than I did the game itself.

ROFLMAO
Although, since we're talking Star Wars here, shouldn't the ban be accordingly?
368 days I mean.

lol i agree with the ban lol. but i voted KOTOR cause i love the first one i'd also love it if a mod came out that made the upgradable stuff on the first one then it would rock i didn't like the second one that much.
but by far my top 3 are:
1.X-Wing Alliance
2. Kotor 1
3. Revenge of the Sith at a push.

A True stratergist doesnt need a DS to be successful. A True Thrawn should understand this. the Only Superweapon Thrawn needs is information!

KOTOR, Jedi Academy, Rogue Squadron (Lucas Arts recieved the title of 'jerks' after refusing to continue this game for PC), Rebellion (Classic), Shadows of the Empire (Dash Rendar rules) and maybe (if it turns out well) Empire at War (I like great battles).

KotOR of course, but I had tons of fun playing the Tie Fighter and X-Wing games.

I voted Kotor too, especially Kotor 1. For some reason, it reminded me a lot of the OT movies atmosphere but at the same time the content was original. Great characters too.
