Take a toy lightsaber, most of us have done it, and swing it around like they do. Try and copy how Revan twirls his lightsaber. See if you don't hit yourself doing it. That'll be your arm if it were real.

If you mean the stance he takes up in Revan's vision where he's confronted by Bastila, I've done that correctly. If you mean the default flourish of lightsabers, I've done that too.
I vote for Revan, since he was an amazing strategist.

Well, like I told you in a PM awhile back if you remember, the Ep III game combat show better lightsaber combat motion better then the movies.
If you are refering to the combat in the Knights of the Old Republic game, of course the lightsaber combat in that game was crap.
But in relation to the Ep III game I practice doing some of the lightsaber motions with long slender sticks, like I told you in a PM awhile back the part of the stick I don't cover as the handle hilt I pretend is the blade of a lightsaber; so I practice to not ever touch the simulated blade part.
And I have gotten really good at it Nancy.
But after long trials of trial and error.
I use some of the lightsaber combat in Ep III, to teach myself real sword fighting skills and tactics; well the combat in the game is so well done, Nancy.
You should reconsider playing the game; Ep III: ROTS.
On the topic:
I think Kreia is the best sith; her wisdom and manipulation skills are unmatched.
She really had piss me off when she betrayed me in KOTOR II: The Sith Lords.

I don't particularly like her, and her "light whip" should stay in Johnny mnemonic, but Lumiya is the best Sith IMHO, she kept the Sith alive for nearly 40 years after Palpatine forgot to turn off his pet cyborg while attempting to fry Luke, and if that's not enough she (spoiler) secretly trained the future leader of the Jedi to be the Dark lord of the Sith in her place! thats good going if you ask me

Some goon made up by S**** S*****, therefore he is not real or considered part of canon. According to SS, he became Darth Sidious' padawan after Darth Maul died, but was later killed by Plo Koon. But of course, most of us here know that that's just a bunch of bull ****.

To actually simulate a lightsaber, you'd need to chop off the blade part of the sword and twirl the handle. As far as I know, light doesn't weigh anything.

Well, I pretend the blade part is made of gas of ionize magnetize plasma that weigh 1 lb. or 2 lb.
Is what I think a real lightsaber blade will be made of, since as far as we know light don't clash and clang when it come in contact with light.

I always had the impression that the lightsaber is difficult to handle and weighs quite a lot simply because of the amount of energy that is projected through the hilt.
I'm probably wrong though.

During the Making of the OT GL told Mark Hamill to act as if the light saber were heavy as hell, Like a broadsword. But then in the PT it is said that a light saber is hard to judge because the blade is weightless.... So I suppose we can believe what we want.

The Heavy As Hell comment is done to simulate a certain fighting style perhaps? I mean, Mark is definitely not a good martial artist, far from it actually.

I'm assuming when Mark say's "how heavy are these thing george?", and george say's "Heavy as hell .... Like a Broadsword", he's refering to the weight.
I think Mark Hamill did an awesome job with the fight scenes actually.

Come on, DarthMaul is the best. Has nobody read Shadow Hunter or Saboteur. Besides you have got to be good to use the twin-bladed saber.

That was actually Darth Vader's comment to Darth Mauls' doppelgänger when he stabbed himself through the chest hitting Maul as well. I don't think It's canon.

Regardless it gives great insight to Vader's self hatred, over Padme. Another bit with him in his meditation chamber confirms it.

I still hold Vader as the best "Lord of the Sith". There are not many novels based upon Vader's life. Vader was in control of one of the most powerful weapons ever known. If he wanted to kill off his enemies, he had the power and opportunity to do so. "Shadows of the Empire" is a prime example. The only problem is that he felt restrained by depression and guilt. Thus, his emotions made him weak, so that the Emporer could control him. If her didn't have any restraints, I think Vader would have done some serious damage.
R.I.P. to 'The Source' and 'MacCorp'

Aaaah! At last someone who doesn't cling to the "Vader didn't overthrow the Emperor because the loss of legs makes one weaker in the Force" theory! Finally!
EDIT: And yes, I know it's the "official" explanation - but IMO it's still lame (as hell)

My first choice is Revan. I'd also like to mention Naga Sadow, not saying he is the best but he was responsible for bringing the Sith back into Republic Space. Yes it was dumb luck, but he definetly has his spot in history. Exar Kun is probably my #2 just because I love that era.

Ajunta Pall. He founded the Sith, and as a result without him, there would be no Sith.

Palpatine. He kept the rise of the Sith hidden from the Jedi until it was too late for them to do anything about it. A Sith Lord becomes Chancellor and the Jedi don't see it coming? That's not an easy task, and to me is an example of his power.

I'm in the begining of the Darth Bane Path of Destruction novel and I would say he had the greatest aclomplishment of any sith lord. I mean stoping the
sith from falling and setting out one of their greatest traditons is hard to top.

Darth Nihilus...is it wasn't for his crappy appearance in the Kotor 2 game.
Why?
1. He is strong enough to keep a ship from falling apart
2. Drain Life on planetary scale?
3. He uses a very cool saber stance.
4. The Mask and looks make him cool.
5. He's immortal (sort of). Darth Krayt asked him how he attached his soul to his armor.
6. Come on...you liked the way he talked...admit it!
7. He destroyed a huge group of Jedi at Katarr?
"I think the Devil ****s Dutchmen."

Ajunta Pall didn't "form" the Sith. He was just a jedi that had fallen. The sith WERE a species, not anymore (unless there is something we don't know) otherwise the Sith is just a ideal.
No one is the best, no one is perfect, one one great powerful figure rises( then loses his/her power or is destroyed by it ) another one ALWAYS rises. It is just a circle.

Ajunta Pall brings the gift of the Force to the Sith Species, on top of shagging many many Sith femaleoid. Many of the Force Sensative Siths carry the blood of the origingal Dark Jedis.
