HELP: Alt-fire option

When I am making a npc, i put him his weapon (WEAPON_BLASTER) but i want him to use the alt-fire. How can i do that?

pls answer i really need to know how...oh and dont tell me that it is by adding the line altfire 1 to the npc file because it doesnt work. so i'd appreciate any help.

You want to write an Icarus(.ibi) scritp whit you enable to the npc to use alf-fire.
To use the script you want to spawn the npc in the GTKRadiant and add.this to thing to the npc in GTK. key:spawnscript value:altfier_script or whatever

I think if you set the npcs intelligence to 5, they start to use alt fire more.

i have mor chars with intelligence to 5 and it isnt that. about scripting, idk how to do that and besides i was thinking about using the console like spawning a npc that would automaticaly use alt fire and do so whenever i spawned him

Copy the Imperial Commander NPC and replace the model.Becouse the imperial Commander can use altfire if you replace the model your NPC can use altfire
