Thumbs up Soundtrack...

I was recently listening to the music in Grim Fandango, and I am absolutely stunned by how great and perfectly this music fits into the game. It packs such a punch that I have to wonder who made all of this. Was this pre-existing music, or was this composed specifically for the game...I'm thinking for the game, but I'm not sure...well thanks...

It was composed specifically for the game by Peter McConnell, who also did the soundtrack for Psychonauts and heavily contributed to many others.

Not really. The game soundtracks obviously belong to those who paid for its composition in almost all cases, so you'd have to hope the game publisher has made it available. This isn't so in pretty much all cases, sadly.

Ah, I see...yes that is sad. There have been somegames that I wish I could have the soundtrack for. Speaking of which...didn't there used to be the whole soundtrack on Grimfandango.net?

Ah...I guess they're still on there, so no worries...I'd have to say that if I'd have to pick one soundtrack, that would be it!
