Who/Where is this Guy?

Hi This is a Screen Cap I took of the cast of Grim fandango.
Everytime I've ever Played the game I always wonder "Hey? Who is this Guy? and where can I look for him?" I thought Someone here Might have seen him.


As you Might have guessed he's the Dude Circled in Red.

Hee, yes, that is indeed Tim Schafer: the designer of Grim Fandango. He doesn't appear in the game, but was put onto the cast shot as a small easter egg. You might recognise his suit.

First time I saw him, I thought he was some character available in GF. But since not, I then guessed he was the living Hector Lemans... Then again, I realised it could be Tim Schafer.

Hmmm, I saw another photo of him in somewhere i dont remmeber. It was something related to grim cheats, and he wrote the answer of the question, i believe.

It's Tim Schafer, wearing Domino's Year 1 suit I believe. As Thrik says he doesn't appear in the game and was merely for this special-photo.

Ah, that's it! After Thrik mentioned the suit I could have sworn I'd seen it before but I couldn't quite put my finger on where. Here's a screenshot with Dom wearing the same suit:

Oh I get it he put himself in the Cast part just like Stephen King and Alfred Hitchcock put themselves in they're Movies.

It's not uncommon for directors to put themselves in they're own movies or projects; Peter Jackson can be seen in all three of his LotR films and I believe Lucas is in the last SW film somewhere.
Of course, Schafer isn't directly in the game and only in this promotional shot.

He Might not be in the Game it's Self But he Still Put himself in the Cast Picture, So that Must Count for Something.
