I like the duel between Luke and the little floaty thng that shot him for training....that was always very inspiring....especialy when he got shot.

I liked Anakin VS Obi, (Dont we all?) and on ANH when Darth vader has his revenge on Obi wan. I hate Obi so much. I love it when Obi die's.

2nd: Yoda VS Dooku
3rd: Mace Windu [and other jedi] VS Darth Sidious
1st: Excellent. Set on a great planet filled with rage anger and love. *sob*
2nd: Cool, how Yoda walks in slowly and crippled and then starts jumping off the walls and spinnning his saber like crazy. Yoda is so cool.
3rd: Is it me or did the jedi helping Mace arrest the Chancellor die a bit suddenley? I mean, these guys are supposed to be jedi knights, Palpatine got rid of them like padawans! I know hes a sith lord, but they could hav e put up a bit of a fight...or died more dramaticcly.

My favorite duel is between Obi-Wan and Anakin in ep. III,
My second choice is the duel between Luke and Darth Vader in ep. V,
when Vader says: spoiler: "Luke, I'm your father!"

Shame Kit Fisto died they could have expanded him into a story inbetween ep 3 and 4.
1st Yoda vs Sidious EP 3- amazing battle and sidious's laugh is funny and when Yoda get's his revenge his alugh turns into a sort of cry! Haha
2nd Anakin v Obi Wan EP U should know- very well done fight with a very interesting battle ground
3 Qui gon and Obi Wan v Maul- nice battle ground and cool double lightsaber. Interesting when the yahve the red shields aswell.

Well even though Obi-Wan vs Anakin is good, I'm going to have to go with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul, since I remember it being my first favourite duel ever in a Star Wars film.

#1 would be Anakin and Obi-Wan in EpIII, that was a great fight.
#2 would be Yoda and Count Dooku in EpII, shame it wasnt longer really.
#3 would be Yoda and Palpatine in EpIII, although i think they could have made that massively better.
I would have preferred it if Count Dooku had been the Sith in EpI who was killed by Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan, then have Maul against Obi-Wan/Anakin/Yoda in EpII and have a nice big fight between Anakin/Obi-Wan and Maul on the Invisible Hand in EpIII.

I agree with Serpentine - Qui-Gon and especially Obi-Wan vs. Darth Maul was my favorite. The action was amazing, the battle was dramatic, and Duel of the Fates topped it off.

I loved the Episode I duel. It was intense, it was brilliant. I know Lucas has said that the duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan is meant to be emotional, but I just didn't feel it. It felt more emotional watching Obi-Wan yell, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!", at the top of his lungs as he witnessed his master being slain by Darth Maul than watching Obi-Wan and Anaking duking it out, imo

Oh I liked so many of them - the second Dooku duel (for the amazing arrogant defence by Dooku against two attackers), the vicious Windu and Palpatine duel, the Battle of the Heroes; then all of the OT duels! But I'm voting for ESB Luke and Vader. It was always one of the most memorable for me - so dramatic in terms of lighting, atmosphere & surroundings and action.

i must say windu vs. palpatine. there's just so much more than just jedi and sith battling in this scene. everything is revealed, and eventually palpatine comes out of it as the grand champion. not only killing 4 jedi masters single handedly (basically, come on), and getting the apprentice he's longed for for 15+ years. incredible.
