I love hot topic. They sell all this cool TNBC stuff and I got my kickass Darth Vader bookbag there.
"A few times in my life I've had moments of absolute clarity. When for a few brief seconds, the silence drowns out the noise and I can feel rather than think, and things seem so sharp and the world seems so fresh. I can never make these moments last. I cling to them, but like everything, they fade. I've lived my life on these moments. They pull me back to the present and I realize that everything is exactly the way it was meant to be."

Whats with all the hate?
Where's the love?
Army surplus stores for the win, and Burtons for jeans, and Gigs for Tshirts. Sorted. Don't be buying any of that pseudo-goth stuff from hot topic or whatever, its just an attempt to catch a trend.
[EDIT] I forgot to mention, I have a myspace. It's nothing special, I use it to keep in contact with people. It's a good laugh
Regardless of any of your feelings on this, I shall continue to use it for these purposes. Do what you want to do, I want myspace.
Cheers, Paul.

Yes I did.
And Darth, don't ask someone out on AIM! Real life encounters for the win.

Okay, put the claws down, only trying to help here.
Do you at least have his phone number? Phone conversations tend to be a bit less impersonal than AIM.

Nope. I have no means of connections other than IM.
Although he does play Gaia sometimes....

Okay, here's what you do (don't worry, for some unknown reason I have an unquenchable desire to help women with their problems, it's true, ask Fender) when he comes on AIM (or you go to Gaia... whatever that is, I'm so out of touch), instead of asking him out, ask him for his phone number.
It's pretty much the same thing, just with different words, but that way, you'll be able to call him and ask him out properly. It's the little touches that count.

The only relationships people should have over the Internet (by any means) are cybersexual relationships. This includes asking someone out over the Internet. Have you no class at all? The younger generation makes me so very sad.

True, I've never bought anything from ThinkGeek, but I have been tempted on occasion, but yes, shipping is annoying.

Darth Ave, you must encounter him at some point in the day, otherwise you clearly don't actually know him which means you'd look a bit silly asking him out. Try to get to know him first, relationships that started out as friendships tend to be more comfortable for both parts, also more meaningful. I'd give it at least about a month before you start letting on that you like him, you may find out that you actually don't like him. You never know, maybe he fancies you too.
Edit: When I said he might "fancy" you, that's an English word meaning he likes you. Let me word it differently: You never know, maybe he has a crush on you too.
God that sounds so mean girlsy... I wish I never watched Mean girls

What's with your custom title?
1. It's over 25 characters
2. You haven't even reached 1000 post.
3. It sounds really emo.

so about asking someone out, here's a funny story.
so i'm friends with this one girl who used to be goth (ala...shopped at hot topic, i'm sure) but she started wearing preppy clothes...because she wanted to ask me out. so we go on the band trip to florida.
i'm going to my hotel room.
and one of her other friends, who is gay, is waiting around there talking on his phone. and he's like "danielle asked me to give you this". so i'm like ummm ok...and i read it and it goes a lit'l su'thin lak this:
"i know you probably know this already but i really like you a lot and i think you're really cute, smart, and funny. i was wondering if you would consider dating me?"
and then he goes "what should i tell her?"...and i was like "um...tell her i dont know". mind you i was trying to suppress serious laughter/shock/catatonia immediately after reading it. so he's like "ok" and then she never brought it up again, thank god. either way it was one of the scariest experiences of my life. all jokes aside, i had a nightmare that night and couldn't eat breakfast the next morning.
she's a nice person and i'm friends with her...but honestly she scares me a little bit.
oh yeah and our band director almost caught her smoking several times on that trip.
fun stuff.
i have another story that deals with the complete opposite, but i'll save that one for another time.

Don't worry. Tomarrow, I'm channelling Audrey. No man can resist the sheer sexiness of an empire waisted LBD! or some cute pearls. Or these killer heels that make my legs look so sexy after I've shaved. But I have to prepair. Tomarrow is Vixen Day for Avery.

and mine. If he says no, I won't be here for a while. Seriously. I've been eyeing him since 6th grade.

Well, let me say that should he say no or yes, you can always find comfort in the LFRD. Probably not here, because you're pretty much enemies with the LFMI, but on the LFRD we're always there.
