Good job doing what?
Edit:
Ah. I have a feeling that after Thrik checks his in-box I will have to make another thousand posts to reach a thousand... I was so close too.

Wow, you're the n00best of n00bs I've ever seen. Even though you cheat the custom title thing.
So, whatever, WELCOME N00B!

The only good time to spam, is with good people, when there forums are super busy. And Neil and I look forward to becoming Three-Headed Monkeys. That's the only good time to spam.
PS: Do it to Ave, too.

Why do you hate me Kjo? Was it the birthday present I got you? I'M SORRY, Ok. I didn't know it was gonna be a male stripper.

Don't worry about it Fealiks. I remember thinking that signing people's email addresses up for spam was a smart idea when I was 12 too.
Fortunately that email address is designed to withstand such nonsense since only words containing a specific keyword get through. It's no biggie.

Phew... Sorry about that I thought the reset thing was permanent. Since it wasn't I guess this is my 1,000th post. Now I need to decide on a good custom title.... how about "Three-Headed Monkey"? Seriously though I can't believe how long it's taken me to get to a thousand, compared to people like Ave that is. You can all ignore this thread now. My mistake. Move along.
Edit: I thought LF would give me a balloon and say "Congrats" or something but noooo... By the way, Thrik, I found out yesterday that you live in the same place as my Grandma and Auntie. Yeah. I know.
Edit: How the hell do I change my custom user title?!

Three Headed Monkey, Bad Lawyer Joke, Beer Root, GROG GROG GROG, Stunningly Rendered, Pegnose Pete, SCUMM > Lua...
...all these and more, are cheesy Monkey Island related titles I thought of after playing through them.
Pick one!
I'm done putting links in my signature because every time I do it just links to some old crap I've long since stopped updating.

I'd rather not, Mr.Icanguessfealiks'quotes...
Since my avatar and signature are pictures of purple clone troopers... yeah. Sometimes I think I'm too clever.
Oh and how come the option to change my custom title only came up after my 1,001 post? :\
Edit: Looks like Ave is about 3 days from her 10,000th post. Way to go. Is the custom title the only privelege I get?!

Haw. :P
No, the contact page Fealiks snagged it from states that unless an email contains a certain word (at the moment it's "spandoozled"), it'll simply sit in Gmail's 'spam' folder for eternity. If the word is present, it'll be forwarded through.
It's a remarkably effective block and it's pretty much 100% effective at stopping bots and such from adding you to their spam lists. It can also be used for signing up for sites and such; I simply check Gmail for the latest email which'll be the activation form or whatever.
It's also good at stopping 14-year-olds with a chip on their shoulder.

So, basically, you only use your gmail account for emails from real people and you tell them this "secret" word do you?

No, I have a direct, physical inbox for people I can trust to not go adding me to spam lists; it's where Gmail forwards the emails to, and where I'll respond from. The Gmail just serves as an initial barrier for those who might do bad with a publicly listed email.

I don't understand
Listening to you, I get the music
Gazing at You, I get the heat
Following you, I climb the mountain
I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you, I see the millions
On you, I see the glory
From you, I get opinions
From you, I get the story

On the eve of his 1000'th post, Fealiks's post count was magically reduced to 0 for a short time... and then subsequently changed back a day or so later (or possibly just an hour, whatever). That's really all you need to know.

Well I thought the post re-set was permanent and I was really annoyed, so I started this thread signed my post-killer up for loads of spam e-mail and as soon as I'd finished doing so, I went back to the boards and my post count was back to 999 and I was like "oh.... sh*t."

Not 3 days. If I'm lucky I can save movey by booking my 10,000 post and my 1 year anniversary around the same time, and just sharing the venue. I'll invite all you of coarse. It'll be in my homeland, Razputin's Domain of coarse. And I'll make the invitations as soon as my printer is fixxed.

I'll be there. And so will my alter ego. Is it weird that every time I write my handwriting durastically changes? Does that mean I have an identity crisis? Because teachers often tell me it looks like someone else has done my homework. I say often, I mean when I actually remember to do any homework.
