the game goes so slow someon help!

ok i have played this game and i think it is awsome but it goes so slow! i HAVE tryed to lower the graphics to the lowest and iv changed the game speed to the highest it can go and i have the latest driver,i DONT play on the internet,and i have a gforce 7600 graphics card and i have plent of ram and disk space but the game moves so slow.......if i DO change the graphics it doesnt make nay differance. sombody please help me

What is 'plenty of ram'? Full spec please, or post your dxdiag. However, during the game - mostly in Galactic Map mode, the game will slow down with so much going on - movement of units etc.

Mine can go slow and I have a beast of a PC. If you don't have at least 1 gig of ram, expect to struggle alittle. Also, any programs that are running in the back ground (all those little icons next to the clock bottom right corner) munch at your ram as well - so consider turning a few of them off.

You havent posted your driver information for your graphics card. Nvidia have just released a brand new set of drivers...download them. Also, the game will run alittle slow, even with 1 gig of ram
