Haha... yeah, call me a newb.
I've just recently revieved the game "Best of PC" for... the PC, which includes the game Republic Commando. Now 'call me a newb' if you want, but I can't defeat the freakin' battle droids, lol. I keep on telling my Delta Squad to 'attack primary target', but we all end up dying. Any tips?

Take them down by using all of your thermals and EMP grenades.

If it's the super battle droids (big chunks of metal with blasters attached to their arm) EMPs work well, and aim at the legs and the blasterless arm. The sniper attachment leaves a nice hole in them, and the anti-armour will take them down in one shot.

Alright, EMPs and grenades. And I've retrieved the anti-armour, but I really don't know what it is or how to use it. Explain please? Thanks for the help =)

It's like a missile launcher and should be in the changes available to your DC.

I suggest saving the anti-armour for the big droids.

Pfft, you actually use anti-armor against SBD's? I just run up to them and knife them over and over, avoiding their blows.

Only if I'm in a hurry.
Otherwise I'd just get the lads to gang up on it or snipe a limb, take cover, snipe, cover, repeat til they're dead.

Use your little knife thing. It does a surprising amount of damage.

Yep, the closer the better... Unless you're using the Anti-armor thing.

Hey, I got stuck on this mission too. But fortunately my problem was that I saved my game when I didnt knew there was a time limit to finish this mission, and there where 2 minutes left and I was at the beggining. So I had to start the mission again... See if this isnt what is happening to you. If not, there's little else you could do aside from running from any droids you dont really need to kill to reach your objective.

I tend to set my squad up as snipers as I do the same. At least when I want to save grenades and other explosives.
And later supers will be the least of your worries.
