Indy mod

I havn't posted here before, but I need some opinions, and some help.
I have decided to make a opinionated Indiana Jones mod (That means you can request the featuures and plot and things). My first question is, which game should I mod to make it feel the most like an Indy game? I was going to use the Max Payne 2 game engine, but I didn't like the feel. Then I thought I should try the Star Wars: Jedi Knight III engine. But now I'm not sure. I would like to know what comes close to the Emperor's Tomb, or at least Infernal Machine gameplay. After that's cleared up, I would like a few people to join the team, help out,give me ideas and a plot. Also, people here on the forums can give weapon and enemy ideas.

You definitely must include Nazis, but if not...Russians like in Infernal Machine...but that's just because they're classics to the series...
