Yeah it was definitely the look of the era, but I'm guessing what we saw in Grim Fandango was probably more based on one specific model than anything else. Perhaps with some artistic license, of course!

I can't really remember the fine details, but it could very well be the one you've posted. I wish my ultra-gallery of GF screenshots wasn't on my other HD.
