On the road to Afghanistan
January 22nd. I ship for training followed by a lovely tour of the desert drugland.
Alright, alright. Let's just calm down and settle this over a nice cyanide pill eating contest, you go first.

well, at least you won't miss my birthday! (which is january 21)
and good luck with your training, hopefully you won't encounter any resistance while you're over there.

Pfft marines. And Jango would never make it. The whole waking up thing would get him kicked out.

The waking up part was the worst part of BCT for me. Sometimes I would wake up w/o knowing it and be there at attention, one of the guys that was on fireguard would come in and tell me to go back to bed, and i'd be like 'huh?' it was weeeeird. dunno if i'll ever go back. i just dont know what i want to do with my life, i have no direction or goals.
