Path To Darkness

He closed his eyes, knowing that his eyes would deceive him and he must rely on the force, he sensed her saber coming towards him so he jumped over it, but not before it sliced semi deeply into his calf. When he landed he stabbed towards her exposed torso.

The blow to her torso sent her off balance and she tumbled out of her dance startled she hit the ground hard a hand covering her stomach. "enough" said the Master present. Lynx growled in annoyance at having lost the fight "go to the healer the both of you" said the master offering no complimnents to either.
she sheathed her blade and began walking to the healer thoroughly annoyed.

Garrett spun his blade around one last time before it abruptly turned off and he returned it to his pocket. He walked up besides Lynx "you didn't cry, I'm surprised" he joked.

She turned around and held up her open palm barely bouncing against his chest she threw him backwards using the force. she turned and kept walking muttering "sonofa--"

Garrett jumped up from the ground in one motion and quickly caught up with her, he held his left hand in front of her face and small bolts of lightning started to jump between his fingers "you might want to watch what you do" he said jokingly but with a dark tinge to his voice.

She uttered several choice curses before blasting him backwards again.

He landed on the ground and shot a few bolts of lightning quickly at her back.

She had not expected the bolts to come and felt them go into her back. she screamed agonizingly and fell forward. she reached for her saber and found it she drew it and turned quickly muttering "bastard"

Garrett shot back up to his feet but stood still, watching her as she drew her lightsaber.

she extinguished her saber and kept walking to the healer she felt small trickles of blood coming down her back where the lighting had struck her.

He walked up beside her "look, I'm sorry" he said sincerely.

She turned a cold gaze on him "get the gorramed hell away from me"

"fine" he said sadly and walked away from her. Garrett walked out of the Jedi temple and back to his apartment complex, he walked into his apartment and threw his robe into the corner then went into his bedroom and laid down on the bed.

Lynx stalked over to the healer's rooms and got fixed up by the time she left her anger had evaporated. she went to Gar's room and unlocked the door knowing he might not answer to her. she walked in quietly and looked around "gar?" she called out

Garrett heard her voice come from the living room, he got up off the bed and walked into the room "so are you done being mad at me?"

"yes" she sighed "i'm sorry"

[Nubehunter]

"it's okay" he said sincerely, "it was my fault anyways" he then sat down on the couch and motioned for her to join him.

She did not move "where did the lightning come from?"

Todrin walked into the room and took a seat. He decided to answer for Garrett, "Lightning is a Sith power, it is usually hard to master for most. Who used it?"

Lynx looked to Todrin then to Garett "Garett did, he used it on me at sparring practice, which you missed"

"I couldn't wake up, sorry." He said smiling. He then frowned and leaned in to Lynx whispering," Do you think he's going back to his old ways?"

Todrin continued to look worried, but was thinking to himself,' I hope so he would make a good apprentice.'

Lynx stood abruptly and left Garett's apartments. She walked down the hall to the room where many could apprentice. she sat down by a large window and let her forhead lean on the cool glass her head hurt with the thoughts going through her mind

He followed her and said, "Lynx, I... nevermind," he almost told her about his feelings for her.

She looked up as he entered the room "I'm just really worried about him Todrin, sorry to be such a downer" she smiled weakly

"It's okay, I'm worried too," He said, waking over to her. He sat down patted her on the back.

Garrett got up off the couch and went into his bedroom, he grabbed a small pouch that contained credits and some other useful items and he left his apartments, he headed outside to a small platform that was outside his apartment and he found his ship, he opened up the cockpit and jumped in, after starting up the engine he sped out of the planets atmosphere.

She let her forhead hit the glass again and sighed "you and gar mean alot to me i don't know what i would if i lost either of you to the dark side"

Todrin frowned, it made him sad to see her sad, but even worse if he was the one bringing her pain. "I am sorry I brought it up", he said.

"no i would have found out eventually its best i found out now then later" She looked over at him "not your fault"

Garrett's Jedi star cruiser sped off to Tatooine, it landed softly out in the outskirts of a town, the cockpit shot open and Garrett climbed out, he pulled his robe over his clothes then set off to town before a sandstorm hit.

When he got to town he walked into a small cantina and sat down at a small table in the corner, he turned his body so it was facing out right towards the Cantina band while they played their famous song.

"I sense he is no longer on the planet," Todrin said. "Where would he go?"

"lets try to contact him" She took out her comnlink and clicked it on "Gar?" she said "Gar do you read? its Lynx i'm sorry I walked out"

"Gar, hello are you there,or did you leave your comm home"

[Nubehunter]

Garrett pressed the button on the side of his comlink "its okay Lynx, I am just listening to Figran D'an and The Model Nodes" he said.

"when are you coming home?" she asked

[Nubehunter]

"I don't know yet, I will tell you before I leave" he said reassuringly back to her.

[DarkWings]

"alright" she said she turned off her comnlink "he is in one of his moods"
