Indiana Jones and the phantom of The Phantom Menace

Found a disquieting piece of info last night while reading the new book The Complete Making of Indiana Jones by JW Rinzler. Apparently after Lucas rejected Frank Darabont's Indy IV script he started doing revisions himself, under the title Indiana Jones and the Phantom City of the Gods.

Now I can't be the only person in whom that title conjures bad memories, can I? It's a bit disturbing that Lucas would use such an echo of what was his worst movie....

It is Indiana Jones.

It is good.

It is awesome.

Yeah, just saw it myself. It does indeed rock hard. I loved it lots.

But I am DAMN glad Lucas didn't write the script himself for this one.
