how many monkeys!?
im trying to remember how many monkeys were featured in each monkey island game, and now, this really surpises me, is it just me or did MI1 only have 1 Monkey in it!?
MI2 had i one Monkey as well i remember,
CMI had about 15 Monkeys (not counting mr fossey)
and EMI, well i havent finished it yet,i gave up on the lousy puzzles on lucre, so i dont kno how many monkeys were featured there, and i dont really care....
but in all the other 3 games, can you remember any more monkeys?
cause 1 monkey in each game isnt allot!
and it is called MONKEY island, after all

maybe the monkeys are hiding...
but there's 2 or 3 in SMI.
In the ending there's 2 monkeys dressed like elaine, but on eof them could be the same as the one on monkey island.

What's so bad about EMI? If you think about it it wasn't so bad. It probaly the 3d part you didn't like. But games chance ya know.

I think it was a failiure. I didn't like the 3D style in it. But as always, Grim Fandango was great!!!

I just didn't like the ending of EMI coz it was gay, piarates are supposed to be blood thirsty killing machines and it was a weak attempt at killing, hell I woulda rathered a bloody battle than the final Monkey Combat crap. Insult sword fighting rules over that crap

hey Feral I couldn't help but notice your imaging site. If you want to check out my site (it's a temp. host so it might be gone lol) you could send some images there if you like, as basically all the images on there are my own and it's meant to be submitted imaging http://l33t.barrysworld.net/ldc/CommunityStore/
Of course if you don't want to send anything, I *sniff* understand.....

i think it would be considered 2.25 monkeys because, when monkeys attack you, the equation for the number of monkeys is:
[#of bites/(#of hands + #of legs)]*[(how much time were spent in the attack in seconds)*(how long you were inconscient in minutes)]
now, if you are attacked by a 3-headed monkey for 1 second, you will get 3 bites. When guybrush fell from the tree in MI2 (which is similar to the impact of a 3-headed monkey), he dreamt of a music. Musics have in average 3 minutes, so he blackened out for +_ 3 minutes. then you just plug in the numbers:
[3/(2+2)]*(1*3)=2.25 monkeys
isnt math underfull? ( )

Well. You triangulated the interger over 13 to see the amount of monkeys to the nth decimal place and then rounded scientifically and carried the 4, so I can just pick it up from a book if I want to.

There are 40 Monkies!
In CMI there are 3 Bodies and 5 Heads. The relationship is 3 to 5. Now if the total number of Bodies are 24 then the total number of Monkies must be:
(24/3)*5 = 40
