Yeah, honestly I was either for the MMO or for just a single player game. I'm just happy I can stop playing WoW for this once it comes out of course haha.. Well at least we will know for sure on that date.

I'll probably still be playing Fable 2 while this project(whatever it may be) is being announced; I'm not going to keep my hopes up, but I will check in the next day on youtube to see what the project is.

I prefer single player KOTOR-like game rather than SW MMO. The only online game that I think great is DOTA. Anybdy play that?

It's a splash screen.. not too much you can tell from that. Best to wait and see what comes after the announcement

The title of this thread is misleading. I thought this would be about KOTOR III, but it's about the stupid MMO that no one wants. We always knew this thing was happening.

Stupid false advertisement. They're going to make the MMO in lieu of a proper sequel.

Don't say no one. Quite a few people want the MMO. I happen to be one of them. Granted I also want a proper sequel, but the MMO is exciting news. They have not admitted what we all knew haha. Funny, this has to be the worst kept secret in gaming history. We've known about it for nearly 3 years, but never had confirmation.

I confess to being completely apathetic. I don't care about MMOs, but a direct sequel, as long as it follows the story of the biggest Mary-Sue since Jacen Solo...well, I won't hold my breath.

Anyway, I don't like MMO SW, it's too...... unfocused. Different from SW. SW has main character on every story, the story is focused on the character's "life". In MMO, everyone can be a god, and that's not comforting for me (because I prefer 1 main character for a story)

Oh yeah! Sweet find, man! I was looking for the back of that card for quite a while now!

Hooded figure comes into view at last. The background is a bit more unclear on the back, but it definitely looks like KotOR architecture. That shiny metal thingy is also reminiscent of KotOR art, although this one looks sharper, cooler and sexier.

I wonder what that blurred thing is right in the center of the background. he looks like some droid enemy to me and reminds me of one of those mechs from MechWarrior 4. The area looks like it's a dock or warehouse of some sort, with a large door facing out into a city that looks like Coruscant or Nar Shaddaa.

If you want to fight against other player, you should play Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, or maybe Revenge of the Sith for PS 2 if you only want to play with your friends. Personally I prefer the PS 2 game, although it has many cons, but its versus game is really fun

Yeah i've got to agree, ROTS' multiplayer is awesome. EAT THAT TEKKEN lol
I also tried star wars galaxies, and i think it just doesnt stand up to the potential of this project.

Well who knows, they might spring a seperate KOTOR single player game on us if we turn up on George Lucas' doorstep and say we will shine his shoes if his game company makes us a game

Just look at teh picture I doubt that could be an MMO I mean it just doenst look MMOish no gimped graphics, it looks like its where a boss fight could initiate which means only 1 thing. God is real... and KotOR 3 is coming. Another reason I believe it is K3 is because none of the game reporters will stop using MMORPG to piss us off so that when it hits we all love LucasArts like it was the day SWG (Pre-CU not the new s@#$) was release. And my last reason for it be K3 is because they have said "For Years". KotOR 3 has probably been the most anticipated game EVER and hasnt even been official yet so I still dont believe its KotOR MMO. WHat is this: http://kotor3.net/ lol I had edited this post so many times SOMEONE POST LOL... If this is an MMO there is a slight chance it wont be released for 360 meaning less sells. But if it is our beloved K3 I am sure it will be released for both PC, 360, Mac (Eventually) and maybe MAYBE PS3.

sidenote: It is definately Star Wars look at that statue. Well it looks like I now have 4 games I want for Xbox 360 (This one will most likely come on the 360 and the PC)

It could have bee for another game but yah but thats doesnt bother me it might just be the engine (Odyssey) is not the greatest engine for graphics I mean for all I know K2 might have been the game it was used in last. But if its an MMO I doubt its using Odyssey unless it totally different than what we saw in K1 and K2. At Darth_Chief yes I do play on Live but havnt found the time to buy a new 12 Month card. So as of now I am not playing Live though when this Winter break comes I might buy a 12 Month card since than I will have teh time to actually use it.

Well, in Galaxies, I hear there are places where you and a group of people can do a 'boss fight' (SPOILER [hk47]SPOILER). I also hear there are 'boss fights' of sorts coming to the MMO I play, Pirates Online. If this one has 'em too, all the better!

KOTOR MMO has been rumored about for years....KOTOR 3 has been hopeless dreamed about by the few people on this forum...more people want an MMO than don't... I'll take both but def want this MMO.
