Imperial Knights.
I always have wondered what people really think of the Imperial Knights? Do you like them? Why? and do you think it was a good idea to create a new type of force users?

No, I dislike them. While it was a nice addition to the lore, they're just some dudes with neat powers and laser sticks without a philosophy that devote their life to protect and serve the Emperor. Not to mention they seem to have an inflated view of themselves.

I read about them on Wookieepedia and all I get is they are some dudes protecting Roan Fel or something? Or am I just way off track?

The thing is some people don't believe they have purpose, for example, Jedi's: their job is to protect and they are devoted to good. Sith's: They are evil and fallow the path of destruction and hate, but them come the Imperial Knights ... and people don't believe they have a purpose. I believe that Imperial Knights are force users that believe that the government must be governed by ONE especial person capable, and not by a senate where many people disagree and never resolve anything. Imperial Knights are gray jedi's with a different point of view of government. Thats my believe.

Well, they do have a point. But it's a lot more practical and honest than that of both jedi and Sith. That doesn't mean they're better. As I said, they're simple mindless subordinates that regards themselves a little too much.

Yeah but IK fallow the orders of the emperor, they don't just do what ever they want. The Emperor who is a force trained Imperial Knight as well is their leader is the one in charge of everything they do. The Emperor for the IK is like the council to the Jedi's.
