What are your favorite Thanksgiving foods?
With the American Thanksgiving just about three weeks away (those silly Canadians have already had theirs a month early ), I thought it would be good to see what everyone's favorite Thanksgiving food is. The poll is multiple choice, so if you like them all, check them all!
As for our non-American brethren, vote anyway on which sounds the most appealing to you.
have a suggestion for the lf poll? pm me

Ah, the turkey! Alas, Pastrami, I still choose turkey. Coupled with mashed potatoes (and some corn on the side), you can't go wrong.
Thanks to the Pilgrims for a reason to get off of school... eat awesome food... be thankful. *whistles innocently*

Stuffing, corn, pumpkin pie.
I don't know, I think that my family should have prime rib for dinner.

I'll bet good moolah that the original thanksgiving dinner was for celebrating the execution of a bewitched turkey.

I used to like Turkey a lot.
Although this year, my parents are making Tofurkey for me. Ugh, vegetarianism sucks,
Pumpkin pie. Mmmm.
My brother-in-law's mother used to make a delisious pumpkin bread every year for the family. Although, she died this past May. I suppose this is going to be very tough on him, celebrating his first major holiday without her.

I love everything on the list, but my favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is turkey, mashed potatoes and homemade noodles. Mmm. <3

Out of the list, mashed potatoes and stuffing is the best.

Pumpkin pie. You get the guts from the Halloween Jack-O-Lanterns, freeze it, and cook it up with cinnamon.

i like Thanksgiving, but i'm not one for some of the traditional foods like Turkey. i do like cranberry sauce, the stuffing (especially my mom's), and pumkin pie, but everything else, i'm just not a fan of.
this year, we're doing a ham roast with squash, stuffing, pumkin pie, and a little something called pineapple mint freeze. darned good stuff that is.

Aw--I voted from the main page and didn't realize it was multiple guess.
Favorites--turkey with gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, that green bean casserole with the french fried onions, homemade rolls, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin and/or pecan pie.
I make homemade stuffing, thank you very much, none of that fake-from-the-box stove top crap.
I usually buy a 20-25 pound bird for our family so we can have lots of leftovers. Yumm!

I can live without it all, but I need my Pumpkin Pie with a touch of wiped cream (and not the store bought crap) to survive the holiday.
Same goes for Christmas, but add Pecan Pie to compliant the Pumpkin Pie.
This year I'm likely to get neither as I will not be home for the holidays.

I would whore myself out for garlic mashed taters. I also like stuffing and turkey (but we eat it a lot in my family so it's not too much of a big deal).

Po-ta-toes! boil 'em, mash 'em (no stew!). My folks grow blue potatoes in their garden, makes interesting mashed potatoes.
Turkey is good too, and gotta have gravy.

Turkey, mashed taters (with sour cream,) the cranberry sauce with the big chunks a fruit in it, my Mama's green bean casserole, homemade rolls, stuffing, and, (I know I'm about to make a lot of enemies,) any pie but pumpkin.
'Course my favorite Thanksgiving meal of all time was when I went to visit my sister at college-- we had Rice Crispies.

I despise pumpkin pie.
But apparently I make a really good pumpkin pie ( I have to make quite a few around Thanksgiving for different family parties...). Go figure.
