Ok, Tuesday is alot like Monday. Boring..
Hey anyone.
Looking to maybe update some of my old PCs. Old as in P4 Northwood 478 cores and 400FSB and AGP video slots.
What's the good stuff with out going broke. I have no idea any more...

I was just at Newegg looking up some stuff. Not even sure what I was looking at though.
I am a fan of Asus boards and have also used some Abit as well. Like Corsair and Mushkin ram and have pretty much always used Leadtek video cards.
Any other new/good stuff to look for stud?

Ok, so I looked at a few Asus boards. It looked like there was only 2 slots for expansion cards. A blue one, PCI-E I assume ,and one other white slot....
Do they not make boards with 5-6 slots anymore... Is everyhting built for on-board sound/video/LAN etc....

Work was suppose to be easy. That was until we had 12 inbound add-ons. Manager ripped one peoples dispatch a new one for failing ot make appointments for 6 trucks.
Now after an hour nap it is curling again
Left 15 minutes early at work... oh well. I figure after putting away 10 loads, and unloading 2 trucks I might have earned a little leniency when no one else unloaded more then 5 trucks

you can find them with 3-4 maybe, you pay alot for full sized boards
now that sound and lan are standard on board they do give us less slots

work was lame boring today. got a bit of maintenance done on the printer...tomorrow's forecast? paper jams! decided to leave at my scheduled time to leave...8pm...due to the weather and the complete boredom i was experiencing.
got home, checked the email...i got a free 3 day trial to that true.com online personal thing, so i figure what the hell, i'll have some fun on it. i only noticed it cause someone sent me one of those stupid wink things, she doesn't have a picture so i'm just going to make fun of her. or not...person says 'extra-large' ew. no wonder there's no picture. hahaha
uh oh...shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. i just sub'd for a month. god dammit. er...nm it's fixed
think i'll just write up a bunch of emails and bust on some chicks. (the ones that are brave enough to post their pictures lol)

pwn'd.
Work was a little better today. Kept busy, anyway... and we got some things done that will probably save a little us time and headaches down the road.
Morning meeting tomorrow... which is gonna suck more than usual, thanks to the messy, sloppy winter weather predicted for the overnight.
Think I'll eat something light and just hit the hay. Fading fast... and I have the feeling I'm gonna be outside cleaning up early.

One down! Installation's scheduled for next Tuesday, and then I can finally watch hockey (not to mention the Superbowl and Daytona 500) in HD goodness!
In other news, I swept Toronto in to win the Cup in 4 games, then signed with the Devils in the off-season. We're 3-0-0-1 (home opener was an OT loss to the friggin' Red Wings) so far in the 2009/2010 season.

Crummy morning. Got the day off to a lousy start.
I was in a foul mood all day. Probably made all my co-workers miserable... even though I tried to do projects on my own, and not subject them to it.

nice, scar.
Work was boring. It was me my manager and the old guy. only did 3 rolls of film..got out of there at 8.
ended up not going out...my friend didn't want to risk an accident and said they'd probably be closed anyway, we're supposedly getting 2-3 inches of snow tonight. definitely going out friday night, checking out that new club.
i got home, and put in Fable II...i'm sad to say it is getting boring/repetitive. I was messing around with people and of course, the game froze on me. So out of frustration, i took the game out, gave a sigh of anger, and put Call of Duty 4 in. Loaded up the multiplayer team deathmatch hardcore. Scored a good amount of kills with the M21 Sniper Rifle. I got 13 kills, 0 deaths on Showdown. normally i wouldn't use a sniper rifle on that map, but i only needed 3 kills for the ACOG scope. I impressed myself.
Think I'll play some more tonight, after I do some missions in Assassin's Creed. I'd like to get that game beaten.

Work sucked as usual, mass flooding going on, road/hiway home is closed so I had to take back roads. Has been raining almost non stop for more then 28-30 hours.
Tonightafter dinner the family went to the neighboring city to their city maintanance building and helped fill/tie/stack sand bags for almost 2 hours. We left at about 8:30PM and most all the city workers have been there since 8AM.
Lost of homes lost.

Cleared the Obsidium Sanctum 10 man raid on World of Warcraft. Easy easy fight.
Guild DPS is now wondering how I'm pushing so much damage out. I beat the mages out, which hasn't happened EVER.

Whats up guys.
New to the forum, came across your thread from last year. Not really into the lucas games, only ones I enjoyed were Kotor I & II. Went through a crappy holidays spent it with some friends. Girl dumped me in the middle of november. Which I had got out of jail in september. For those of you complaining about not having a job, try to get one with a felony.
I live in Virginia, in a small town 40 miles sw of Richmond. Just beat bioshock last week, playing an oldie currently. Neverwinter nights 2.

ah..not sure what places would hire. i'd check out temp agencies though, or you can browse grocery stores, etc where people post their business cards and ask if they are hiring, even if it's temporary. idk, i hate job hunting.

first it was Jango's problem which i couldnt diagnose w/o me being there (so i visited and didnt take me very long to figure it out, jango you goof...) , then it was someone on steam whom is from Toronto. well, again, hard to do w/o me being there.

Sounds like a business in the making:
"The Fixer:
The only man in the business who will cross national borders to repair computer problems nobody else will touch!"
You'll need your own private jet, of course. Write it off as a transportation expense...
Work was blah. Not easy... not hard... just blah. High schoolers butchering jazz.
I guess I'm managing our division's intraweb site now. Who knew?
Looks easy enough... but I'm just really in love with the fact I was volunteered to do this work by a couple of fellow workers.
Hmmm...
My revenge list just got a couple of names longer...

When buying a sword, a functional one, especially a Katana, be prepared to invest several thousand dollars.
That crap you find on E-Bay or stores that say "Combat Ready" usualy will only survive one or two swings against a zombie.

Okay.. i am in a really really good mood right now.
I love my job, I have a really cure and lovable kitten, Curling season is in Mid-swing, and i just got done with a really good game, i have a really nice apartment, and a car that runs well. The only thing that could possibly make it better would be a girlfriend.
Love you all!

Forgot to post the early pace...as of midnight (board time) on Dec. 7 we had 101 posts in the thread, putting us on pace for 5,252 posts after one week. Not that I expect us to keep up that pace, but it's a promising start.

If we keep up that pace then I would be amazed. Absolutley astounded.
Work has been OK. I called in sick for a few days (Unpaid, no sick time, but I needed a break so I value that over pay), work for three days, then from Sunday to Wednesday is paid time off.
THANK GOD I'm a genius.
