Space Glitch

Meh i found this the day i got bf2. Be the CIS on any space map and fly over to the republic hanger. Then land it indside and take off with one of their ships. Almost as soon as u take off, land. If you do this just right u will get outside of the shield that wont let you out if you walk up to it. If done right you should now be on a ledge outside the starship that goes all the way around it. If you jump off it takes forever to die, but it is cool to see the ships fade away.

You can do this on just about any Republic or Imperial captal ship.

I've done it before as a clone trooper. I think it's easiest with a droid starfighter. It shouldn't matter what ship you use, but the only time it worked for me was with the droid starfighter. It is just hilarious!

Try it. It's actually relatively easy. Just make sure atleast half the ship is hanging over the edge.

i've done it alot and found you fall real slow in space :P but don't jump off the cis capital ship if you wanna live cause there's no lil bar to run around on theirs

If you wanna walk around on the outside of the ship, be careful- the enemy starfighters friggin shoot at you!

so far no one has shot at me up there but once i shot at a auto turret and it did about the same as a blaster rifle does to the engine cooling tanks oh and note i was a pilot with no war hero and regular pistol

Try being the space marine and do the space glitch. You might be able to lock onto enemy ships with your rocket launcher. I doubt it, though.

Tried. Didn't work. You can't even get close to ships on the outer rims of the capital ships, but somehow, they can get close to you

Wow, that's gay. But at least the glitch works. It allows us to explore new and mysterious parts of space!

That reminds me- if you do the space glitch, walk to the back of the capital ship under the engines, kneel down, and walk into the body of the ship as close as possible, you can see inside of it!

You can't get to the engines though. They're on the rooftop part. Man I wish we had better cheats!

You can also just take a ship as anyone class and land it halfway out of the shield, make sure you're facing the inside so when you Exit, you land on the outside of the shield. Not too hard to do.

Even easier, use a Droid Starfighter, then you don't have to face inside.

I'm not going to argue over a petty thing like "which is faster" but my point was the glitch is not limited to one faction, ship, etc.

the best way to land on the frigate:

Map: Spave Mygeeto or Mustafar (cant remember which one)

get 1 or 2 friends
get damage reduction
once ur outside, kill each other untill enough hp drops so u all have full hp. (this can be done by crashing a ship into the the side or shooting at each other)
When u have full health, go to the most sticking out part of the ship. This area should be directly above the bridge portion of a frigate.
sprint jump and try to hit that bridge part.
if done correctly, u will be walkin around on a frigate.

Pfft you can walk around on a frigate in capitol down all you like. plus some other maps I think.
