[Sith'ari Darth Bane]

Why are there several photos with characters holding lightsabers that belong to other characters?

For example: The cover of Darth Bane Rule of Two shows Darth Bane holding Qui-Gon Jinn's lightsaber.

On the cover of Planet of Twilight Leia is holding Luke's lightsaber.

Why?

That has popped up here before. We chalked it up to either their to lazy to make a new model for each individual character, or there is some secret we don't know about.

Part of the Jedi training as well as the Sith is that they are to create their own unique lightsabers. I guess the artists might not understand that little fact.
