Republic Helmet

As a request by Memarik, I've made a wearable Republic Helmet. It's not a disguise or a replacement head, but an entirely new model altogether. To get the whole Republic feel, I've also edited appearance.2da to change the PC clothes to Republic soldier uniforms. I've also added a new baseitem that is a Republic Armor that offers 3 defense and 8 maximum dexterity. The helmet offers 2+ to defense, but a -1 modifier to dexterity. Don't worry! I've used the TSL patcher, it's my first time to use it, so it'll be compatible with most stuff. I'll post pics soon, and the file as soon as KotOR Files uploads it..

Here's the link!

Here are pics!

Thanks. It wasn't that hard, either. Doing all the stuff with the Patcher took me longer than the mod...

Great little mod ! And well done on the patcher thing, I still can't work with the bugger

Last time I needed help from Ferc Kast to get my stuff done.

Anyway, yeah a helmet that doesn't clip

Helpful!
Excellent Work!!! I especially like the "used future" look. It makes Lucy Liu look like she's been busy kicking some a$$.........

Very nice, as always.

No clipping problems on any heads?

Um... I haven't really tested it out that much. I'd say very little. Just don't put it on Juhani or Mission... The only other heads that might clip is Canderous in the front like a milimeter, and the female head that looks like a Cathar.

And, to be honest, I didn't model or texture the helm, I opened up the Republic Soldier Corpse and took it off of it.

Thanks for the comments guys! I was getting a little worried about the lack of feedback since the release at KotOR files. Anyway, it seems to be doing pretty well. It's in the top 20 downloads so far.

There is one thing that would make this mod better: A chinstrap for the helmet. Similar helmets, used later on, also had chinstraps. They were always secured to ensure they stayed on, something quite desirable in combat.
