From what i can see. You're definitely using Gimp 2.0, am I right?

"Light and shadows" = Nova preset...
"Artistic" = cartoon-ify settings...
"Static"...

Did you use the Render - Clouds thingimagigger? For the Base Tex? (That's what I used for the planet. And stars. And Nebula-what-ca-ma-callit in the background of mine.)
