Tie Fighter Collector's CD Versions ?

Hi all - curious question.

Over the years I have obtained two versions of Tie Fighter Collector's CD-ROM.

One of the discs is PURPLE, while the other is a normal coloring with space in it's usual black.

Are there any differences in the two versions ? Thanks.

As my only copy of TIE Fighter is from the (Windows) Collectors Series, I'm not really in a position to be able to answer.
